They would have to spend money from their pockets before getting the money from EL. First few rounds is all "spend by yourself" and a club like bradford won't be able to afford it.

Not to mention their squad is limited in numbers so that's another reason for them.

This is why I want to kick UEFA. EL money probably don't even cover a teams expenses.

Yea, But their trophy was reaching the final. Not many 4th tier sides can do that. Fantastic achievement to make it this far. They have played with pride.

Swansea will be an interesting one to follow in the market, who they (have to) sell and who they'll buy. Also will Laudrup be there calling the shots and can they find more bargains.
