Which one do you hope will win it?
League Cup Final
What a fantastic final this competition produced for us, you've gotta be really happy for both clubs (at least if your team was not beaten by either of them).
But the question is: Which one would you like to win the trophy? Laudrup's magnificent Swansea who are becoming one of the highlights of the season or the true underdogs Bradford who are punching above their weight all the way from League Two?
The final is being played on 24 February.

Re: League Cup Final
bradford winning it will be a fairy tale. Swansea deserve it after their amazing start to the season and their excellent football. Plus Laudrup
Most will probably watch it as neutral

Re: League Cup Final
This is taken from BBC's live text:
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup: "Most of these players have never been to a final.
"I've been there a lot of times as a player and a manager and it is so different. It is absolutely amazing and you will always remember it. Even the ones I lost have been great."
You didn't lose many Michael...
"Yes. Well that is true..."

Re: League Cup Final
i have really enjoyed watching swansea playing and id really like to see laudrup win a trophy this season.
would also be amazing if bradford won because what a story. even if they lose their run has been pretty legendary.
either way really its going to be a cracking result.

Well, I'm pissed that we 'lost' to Bradford, but my friend supports Swansea and he wouldn't shut up if they won, so .. Bradford .

On topic Bradford in the final is epic. It's like taking a team I FIFA from league to to the cup final. It's amazing what they did. I support a small team do I will cheer for the underdog here!

I warned people about Hanson after they got drawn against Arsenal
I want Swansea to win it though. They deserve a trophy after how they've played this season. Joy to watch.

Re: League Cup Final
They will get a spot in the EL. However Bradford chairman said he will refuse it because of money issues

Re: League Cup Final
Wouldn't they earn more money in the Europa League? Why would they refuse it it would bring alot of spotlight for them. Although the team prob won't be strong enough to compete.
Re: League Cup Final
It would be a spot in the 3rd qualifying round, too, so they wouldn't be in the group stage yet. But it would be disappointing if they won this and refused the chance to play in the EL, although I understand money is an issue.

Travel and accommodation expenses plus whatever organizational costs there are would be quite much for them. I think even clubs who make it into the latter stages of the competition only recoup from prize monies what they've spent on expenses.

They would have to spend money from their pockets before getting the money from EL. First few rounds is all "spend by yourself" and a club like bradford won't be able to afford it.
Not to mention their squad is limited in numbers so that's another reason for them.
