Zamp: Pastore will go to Malaga or Madrid

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini, is certain to lose the one superstar he has seen as president. Zamparini confirmed in Italy that Pastore is "90%" sure to leave palermo to go to Spain or England. He gave more hints and guaranteed that Real Madrid and Malaga are the teams most likely to sign him.

"Pastore? The situation is in the hands of his agent, but in two weeks we will know his future, if not he will continue with us. It's 90% sure he will go because it's his own wish. It's a shame, because he is the only super talent i have had as president" said the president to the Italian media.

Besides, Zamparini gave more clues about his next destination. "He will go to Spain or England. Except Barcelona. Real Madrid and Malaga are the favorites," he added.

Malaga ? I knew they have shown their sense of ambition, but can they really afford his transfer ? Zamp is a very hard man to please and with Man City bidding 44M for Sanchez, I'm sure Zamp now has dollar signs ringing in his eyes.

Madrid is atypical...they're linked with every big player on the planet (whether it is a stupid rumour or something more concrete like this).

On a side note, a move from Italy is almost certain as Zamp said today the only club who has made a move from Italy was Juventus, and with Aguero or Rossi lingering, I don't think we'll pursue him...but I digress. :coffee:

Well not really...what was said was that he could go to Rome if they put up the money. Thing is, Zamp never denied a club the transfer...he kind of openly said whoever will pay the 50, 60, or 70M (depending on his mood Laughing

) will get Pastore. I think Rome was only linked because they have new owners, a new coach, and people think they are going to transition into a new era.

whats with this zamparini guy..dint i hear him saying yesterday ,he could go to roma ?!..and all the time he is mentioning real madrid and barcelona in his comments to just increase pastore 's already inflated price tag..well i wish he stays in serie a ..seeing him playing for malaga next season would dissapoint me..
