As someone who has seen Sammy A. play a handful of times in sub roles, I always thought he was a scrub depth player. Didn't know he had this kind of ability in him

Does he actually have a future at Newcastle then?

He has always had ability.... his problem is decision making, work rate, end product and understanding of his position.

But the raw tools are there, hopefully he will learn that stuff on loan and come back to be good enough to push for one of the wide spots.

We honestly should have sent him out on loan at beginning of season as well as the others from our academy at beginning of season instead of buying no one and relying on the kids.

Oh well better later than never.
