If he doesn't start against Swansea, I almost want him to go somewhere where they really appreciate him.

Yeah he's quality. To add to those attributes you mentioned, he's pretty quick and can play the ball from the back at ease.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:Koscielny, I am becoming a big fan of him every time i see him, his aggression, tacking, intelligence to read the game
Re: Arsenal support thread
Koscielny should join Cheateuneauv if he can't play

Agreed. I mean Arsenal did have to go out and beat a better team 3-0 in the other teams house which BTW is one of the hardest places to play in Europe.
A team that just smoked them 3-1 and it could have been 5-1.
I thought Arsenal had the right game plan. Keeping a clean sheet was always going to be the most important thing as a Bayern goal would have killed Arsenal's confidence and the game would have been over.

Re: Arsenal support thread
One advise to my fellow gunners:
Never lose confidence in your team ffs!!
We were so close to upset the entire world and beat all the odds.
Now, lets grab that 4th spot !!

Re: Arsenal support thread
Most here never knew but I had Arsenal's back (You can thank Giroud for that Gunners :cheer:) for this one. As soon as I saw Girod start I knew something could happen and when scored I screamed "YES!!! WOOOO!!! GIROUD, MAH MAN". Then when Koscielny's goal came I realized it was possible but then came the whistle.

Hopefully for your sakes you don't perform like scrubs against Swansea as i'd rather watch you on Tuesday/Wednesday than Spurs or Chelsea
Last time Spurs played on Tuesday/Wednesday, they got to the quarterfinals.
Anyway, I hardly watched any of the game, but gooners ought to be proud of this performance. That's about all I'll say though.

Re: Arsenal support thread
Thank you for the kind words and support fellows.
0-2 win at the Allianz Arena. Not the best of performances from either team, but the heart and desire made me proud.
No point dissecting the ifs and buts. Or reasoning and/or slagging refrees, time-wasting, Bayern tactics, missing players, etc.
Imo, all these are part of the game. Bayern approached it practically and did what any other team in their position would do. To curse them for it would be too idealistic.
As Arsene would put it, it was a game of 180 minutes. And the better team went through.

Re: Arsenal support thread
arsenal should be proud of their performance. the second goal came so late it didn't give them enough time to grab the third
what the heck were they doing in the first leg
also lol at neuer for trying to outdo the swansea ball boy anyone got a gif of that???
what will bayern do when schweini retires it looks pretty much evident that they rely on him

Re: Arsenal support thread
Bayern's defending is kinda fascinating. You can barely pass the ball or create chances against them.
