Have just been on the phone to Inspector Thackwray of West Yorkshire Police who is in charge of the Mounted Division based in Wakefield.

BUD is doing very well and the inspector really appreciated the phonecall from me explaining the concern and admiration from Sunderland supporters.

I also asked about donations of £££ or carrots etc and he said this:
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. As the horses are well taken car of.

But they do like Polo mints. So I said that SAFC Fans would probably donate a load of Polo mints.

From RTG, after that some of the lads started trying to get a whip round going to buy him a box of polo mints.

RTG being RTG a couple of business owners offered to buy them, but there will be some changes made to the box.
