Oscar Empty Oscar

Post by BarcaLearning Sun Apr 21, 2013 7:59 pm

Got a question about Oscar. From what I know hes no. 10 for Brazil and their playmaker most of the time? Now I believe that is no joke and a top top player can only be in that role consistently for Brazil. But I only get to watch him mainly for Chelsea, and as Mata is the main guy (which says a lot about how far superior Spain's midfield is), Oscar cannot play the playmaker role he plays for Brazil, and plays more all over, or even wide. Although I dont watch Chelsea consistently to know for sure to judge. I think he looked off the pace and physically weak at the start, but he has strengthened it seems and improved a lot lately, and showing that he is a top player able to fit EPL.

So I want to ask you opinion just how good is he? What is his best position, and what role shoule he play in Chelsea perhaps longer term? Will he be the Brazil main play maker if no one else comes along for the WC?

he is half the player he actually is playing as a winger.he is a great n10 and was playing well under RDM until Benitez came and put him wide.

Really want to see how he does in the confederations and world cup

Plays very much like Ozil. I like him very much, he will be one of the best players in the world in the next years.

Yeh, I've watched Chelsea recently and I think Oscar would do better centrally and Hazard (currently at RW) would be better cutting in from the left.

However all 3 them of them kinda roam around and link up well, so it may not make a substantial difference.

Another one of Rafa's masterstrokes.

Seriously a great player, when applied correctly. Rafa doesn't do that.

I really want to see him back centrally in the long term, with Mata out right and Hazard on the left. That is where they all work best.

And yeah, as long as he has a good season next season, he'll be the starting No.10 for Brazil Proud

Yes they do but Oscar is better when he is given more time centrally.

I've paid close attention to him this season and he's definitely an interesting player to follow. Reminds me a lot of Ronaldinho, and I enjoy following him. Big year for him next year.
