then why did he get rid of sahin?

khedira was a mourinho signing too yet he looks like he won some kind of a "play a game with your idols" contest

Mourinho: The best team by far won. Individually and collectively Dortmund were better and deserved their victory." We found it hard to hold onto possession when they pressed. I think all of my players gave it their all."

Dortmund's players ran 62.4 km's more than Madrid players according to AlJazeera Shocked.Former Madrid player says these stats are wrong but the lead guy says they're official.

Now if this was Wenger we'd hear an absolute opposite of what Mou said... Credit to you Mou, accept it. And go and try and batter Dortmund 3-0 next week.

I still consider him one btw :coffee: unless he finishes like this consistently.

He was fantastic tonight but most of the time i consider his finishing to be erratic.

I don't troll Lewa btw i say what i feel.

I'm still shocked over the collective performance. I've praised Klopp to death yet reeling over the brilliance of some individuals. Hummels despite the mistake for CR's gol (given the teams distraction) was brilliant and added much to their attacking play. Subotic' signiture composure and discipline shone to compliment Hummels. Piszczek aside from nullifying Cristiano, put in a massive shift to attack the right flank and compliment BĹ‚aszczykowski. Kuba himself was PERFECT in counter-pressing and ravaging absolutely havoc down the right flank. Big.Game.Beast. that Kuba. Bender wasn't spectacular yet like Javi yesterday he was composed, tactical and positionally correct. Guendogan my MOTM outside Lewandowski. Lewa just shed all of his ghosts of his lack of clinical finishing and ranks among Huszti as Bundesliga's most improved player. Always contributes to Dortmund's play, leads the line like Shevchenko, and of course delivers ALWAYS in big games for Dortmund. 4 gols taken with pure confidence. His penalty honed his inner Micheal Ballack to corral it past Lopez. Deserves every word of praise today. So proud of seeing this after all the criticism he received. Now his importance is cemented well and truly. I truly hope he doesn't leave.

Dortmund's player of the year.

Can someone tell me what the F Alonso was thinking running into the Dortmund player like that? He just straight body checked him..

It's not unheard of, I've seen players do that before but I don't get it.. How can you not have the body coordination to control yourself and not run into a player? Dafuq

Arquitecto wrote:Two Españole being absolutely smashed by the Germans. I will admit this isn't a pleasing sight yet when you are annihilated like this, you have no choice internally but to be humbled, and for that I give Bundesliga my greatest and utmost respect.

This not a sign of Spanish teams in decline, this is a sign that Germany's 2002 phantom under the radar works has come into full bloom and top gear, resulting in the new golden age of German dominance.

And they deserve a german final. Espana had it, Italia did, England did and now Germany surely will and I have no qualms with that. Its time other leagues start learning from the German format despite Italia, France and to an extent Espana having new bred formats which are working just nearly as well. German football within the Bundesliga isn't exciting or tactical, yet they've found their ground within Europe and that is what matters. It will spurn others to do the same within Deutschland.

#BundesLegacy. Accept me, dear Phritz

Arq this is good point, and u mainly mean the financial management, the TV rights profits distribution shared correct? When u say the Bundeslinga isnt exciting or tactical, im sure some would disagree, can u elaborate? Razz

the most funny thing about a possible german final is that it would be in Wembley

Funny usually the nation have hosts the final dont get to see one of their own win it.

only reason for optimism was our handling of barca...  but they suck too.  We just suck less than Barca if that's any consolation head-to-head.  But since they won la liga.  we still suck more if we're truthful.

Too many things sucked to list.  But Alonso sucked most with Pepe and Ramos making the podium.

Sell them all, and NEVER play Higuain instead of Benzema ever again!

Loooool, some Real fans are so typical Laughing

I've felt that way for years regarding Pepe, Khedira and Alonso.. It's not a knee jerk.. Maybe not so much the Coentrao part but he offers nothing going forward.. In this day and age, you need fullbacks that can contribute to the attack IMO

Fair enough Cool

sportsczy wrote:except Madrid actually scored and had chances to score more.... Barca tikki taka'd 50 meters from the goal all game.

To be fair, Mourinho's main strat was Modric and he didnt do that bad, and Ronaldo had a few chances, although it almnost felt like everyhthing had to go in the end to Ronaldo these days with Real like a bit Barca to Messi. Dortmund anticipated most and the few chances, the GK did well to save.

madrid had a massive problem with the dortmunds pressing, dortmunds pressing was rabid and irrepresible and yet very organised at the same time . the question is would a team like man u or chelsea which is used to dortmunds type of pressing have done better ? i personally think stoke and west ham would give dortmund a really tough game as the way to counter pressing is to play long balls and bypass pressure in the midfield then compete for second balls, but its just my opinion, i also think madrid arent out of the tie yet, with ronaldo in the team anything is possible
