Milan vs Catania

Must win here, a crucial game for our Champions League pretensions. We are only one point above Fiorentina in what looks more and more likely to be a two horse final race for the third spot. Viola have already beaten us to CL some years ago with that ridiculous Osvaldo bicycle kick in the last round. This time they are playing Sampdoria away in a tough game. Best case scenario is of course we win and they lose, and we would have a four-point advantage with four games to go and very similar schedules.
Catania have had a strong season overall, although they haven't won in their last four games, and have lost most of the difficult away games.
I guess Balotelli will be back for us. Robinho has been begging to start these final games, and perhaps he will.

Fio will face Samp away today, Samp haven't lost to to Fio since 2009.

El Shaarawy's problem in front of goal is obviously psychological. Needs to get his confidence back. Aside from that though, he had a good game. Again is work rate is fantastic, covering the whole left side attack, mid, and defense

their keeper was unbelievable for a second choice keeper.. the only problem is he cant hold on to the ball

Agreed that it is entirely a mindset problem, iirc, his problem is not much different from what Rooney experienced when Ronaldo was coming into prominence. Kinda needs to be reminded he needs to be more selfish/take charge with possession, not just keep it flowing and putting in solid team player effort only.

Can't belive you guys.. seriously not even giving credit to the man who started the comeback aka Flamini. This guy needs more love , scored decisive goals throughout his Milan career forever underrated.

The only problem is the goal Flamini scored covered up his horrible play the rest of the game.

I don't think Flamini was that bad... he mad some good forward runs and in general ran a lot. Heck of a lot better than Nocerino, that's for sure.
I like Flamini at RCM. He should definitely get a renewal. Guy has been plaing great in 2013.
Also Boa at RW is much better than Robinho or Niang, imo we should keep him there and buy a creative CM. Saponara and Niang can be subs

Flamini's defensive cover and first touch are shocking. Maybe I'm being too tough on him, but I do think he could be a good player for depth. Nocerino is completely the forgotten player he once was. I think Ricky Saponara can play in a 3 man mid. A midfield of Montolivo, Saponara, and De Jong could be the right balance of everything we need.
