If they did he would have to drop down 2 or 3 divisions lol.
He's staying at least till christmas, i just hope the rumours of a backroom coaching revamp.... tactics, style of play and fitness are true.

Redknapp at Everton? He'd have nothing to do there, the club is already broke...

Reasons this effectively rules out (or at least should rule out):RedOranje wrote:Redknapp at Everton? He'd have nothing to do there, the club is already broke...
Martin O'Neal
Tony Pullis
Harry Redknapp
Roberto Mancini
and any other manager that requires more than 10m a window to operate.

Stanislawski is leaving Köln, fluent in english and does wonders without a budget.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
I feel that you're being very harsh on Mancini in claiming that he can't work on a low budget DTOR; granted his last two coaching jobs have been at clubs in which he has been encouraged to spend, however his previous work at Lazio and Sampdoria showed that he is very capable of winning trophies with effectively no budget. In his time at those clubs, both were effectively in financial ruin, with Lazio having to sell Crespo and Nesta due to the poor state of their finances, yet he was able to take the club to the UEFA Cup Semi-finals and to win the Coppa Italia whilst securing positive league results.
I will however agree entirely that he won't end up at Everton though.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
Actually, most German coaches (bar Felix Magath) can work pretty well within tight budgets.VivaStPauli wrote:Stanislawski is leaving Köln, fluent in english and does wonders without a budget.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
So...
Benitez goes to Napoli
Napoli coach goes to Inter
Pellegrini will (!!!) go to City
PSG still holding on to Carlo
Real fires Mourinho
Mourinho will go to Chelsea
Moyes goes to ManU
Roma, Everton, Real, Malaga still without coach/manager...

Roma agree terms with Allegri
http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/05/ac-milan-coach-agrees-roma-deal/
Only thing holding it up now is Berlusconi, who didn't meet Allegri today. That meeting is said to take place next Monday or Tuesday.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
Reports emanating that Laurent Blanc could be announced tonight as the new Roma coach, but it's highly likely that it will happen tomorrow as a meeting between President Jim Palotta (via video conference), CEO Claudio Fenucci, General Manager Franco Baldini and Sporting Director Walter Sabatini will be held at Trigoria to discuss when to have him take over.
Official terms are $2 million per annum for 2 years with Former Parma, Samp and Napoli player Alain Boghossian tapped ahead of former Roma great Vincent Candela as his assistant along with former assistant at Bordeaux, Jean-Louis Gasset, also in the frame to join. Candela isn't completely ruled out and could still have some role in the technical staff.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
Probably Barca as well. There are elections after all, you never know. Laporta might propose Klopp for his campaign for example.

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round predictions
I predict:
Madrid get Klopp -> Ancelotti goes to City -> Pellegrini to Sevilla -> Emery to Milan -> Inzaghi unemployment
Rafa leaves Napoli for Roma -> Rudi Garcia joins Newcastle -> Napoli get Mihajlovic or otherwise Napoli get Montella and Mihajlovic goes back to Viola -> Sampdoria get Mazzarri back
Liverpool stay with Rodgers
Bayern stay with Pep
Barca stay with Lucho
PSG stay with Blanc

If Rafa couldn't take the heat in Napoli...what makes you think he'll be able to handle it in Rome?
Not even Ironman-turned-CL finalist Lucho could handle the Roman heat. Rudi's cracking under too as well.
