Ranocchia wasn't the worst player in Serie A.

The worst transfer wasn't Rocchi.

I don't think the best player was Vidal, I even think it's questionable he's the best midfielder.

Best coach is between Montella and Guidolin. But I think what Montella did was more impressive.

Shite list from a shite website

Ranocchia wasn't bad this season, matter of fact he was having a great season until January and he wasnt that bad in the 2nd half. It's just our defensive setup that was embarrassing.

Rocchi wasnt the worst transfer, he was signed for almost nothing and his goals secured some points, what more can you ask for from a reserve signing ? Sure the whole failure to secure a decent backup for Milito is a huge fail but that doesnt mean Rocchi as a performer was bad. He outperformed silvestre who we're paying 10m for. Now that would be a worthy winner

Vidal was impressive, certainly a good candidate to win this, but Cavani was great as well. Cant complain though.

As for Barzagli, its amazing how this guy turned from an underachieving overhyped prospect into the player he is today. Says much about how the team's setup influences individual performance.

Okay Ranochchia was shite towards the end, but i thot he was one of the top 5 def in the 1st half of the seasn. Not the worst player :brickwall:
Rocchi was signed for peanuts, hows he a worse transfer than Silvestre or Scheletto (did i spell it right)?
Oh and Pogba one of the best transfers in europe, let alone italy. Considering his impact, age and price, he is much better than Valero.

Valero has been one of the best Serie A top signing this season, definitely top 5. I can name 10 players who have been much better and more influential than Pogba has this season Laughing

And Pogba isn't better than Valero Laughing

Vidal deserved it.

Cavani had a barren goal drought at one point. And Vidal played at more or less the same world class level all season long, even playing through injuries to still come up with clutch impacts.

Borja was a great signing, been Vital for Fiorentina's resurrection. Last season Fio were a complete wreck, this season they nearly clinched 3rd. That's a HUGE improvement.

Rano was terrible, but there have been worse. Perhaps it's not about the absolutely worst player but rather how the player performed compared to what's expected of them.

I mean some Pescara scrub isn't expected to do anything of note, Rano is still young and has fairly high expectations. He never stepped up.

As baffling as the Rocchi transfer was, it wasn't the worst. He did actually put the ball in the back of the new a few times.

perhaps i should hav worded it better. I didn't mean to say that Pogba is a better player (at present) than Valero, just stating that considering his age and impact this season, i feel that pogba is a super star in the making and that Juve making a move for him represents the best bit of business in Italy. That is all.

you guys are CRAZY

Barzagli IS italy's Best defender...if not please tell me a better one?

and please tell me a BETTER midfielder than Vidal in serie A right now?

And i understand why they put Rocchi as worst transfer, because it was really a "wtf" moment from Inter, they have one of the oldest attacking force in Serie A and they "reinforce it" with a 35 year old 5th choice striker.....common bro....

I think this article was a bit disrespectful to Pirlo, he was at times just as important in Serie A to Juventus' title campaign.

Vidal may steal the show at times but without Pirlo that midfield just does not tick over the same way.

Just my opinion

If you knew how to read you would realize I said it's questionable as their have been a lot of players who have been very important for their team. Like Montolivo or Hamsik.

Montolivo, Hamsik, Vidal, Borja, Pizzaro, Marchisio, Hernanes, Aquilani, Lodi and Pirlo.

Yes I know the players i mentioned above are starters for their team, but that proves my point. You can't say a 19 year old player who doesn't start (inb4 Vidal Marchisio) has been better or influential than the ones I listed above. Does he have the potential? Absolutely but as of now he isn't better than them. Nor does he influence his team like any of them.

I agree with Casciavit about Pogba. While he was great whenever he played, he just didn't play enough to have an impact as strong as the other mentioned players. A lot of the hype surrounding Pogba is because of his age. If you take the age factor away, then he is definitely not better than the ten players Casciavit listed.

Completely agree with the selection of Vidal and Barxagli though.

I was wondering how no one mention Bendtner...
That man has been the worst player, transfer and everything in Serie A this season!

He makes Silvestre looks world class. It hurt my heart so much when I saw him walk out when we were having our trophy celebration

Bendtner? He barely played a few minutes for us and was injured in half of the season.. Not saying he is any good, but in my opinion you can't prove anything if you don't play. Same goes for Anelka. You can't judge them on that, I'd only call them useless transfers.

Best transfer was definitely Balotelli though, without him Milan couldn't have scored so many penalties wouldn't be anywhere near 3rd spot.

Maybe I'm biased but Vidal was the best player of the season for me, always showed up when he was needed, gave his all in the whole season.
Cavani's and the whole Napoli midfield's dip in form cost them the title, so definitely no for them.
