The city of Milan is at the top when it comes to football in Italy. Both from the point of view of teams and of support. In the 2010/11 season Inter was the team with the largest number of home fans attending matches, while arch-rivals AC Milan attracted the highest numbers of opposing fans to away matches, and the Milan derby proved to be the match with the highest attendance of the season in Serie A.


#1.Inter: a total of 1,134,239, averaging 59,697 spectators per match

#2.Ac Milan: a total of 1,024,409, averaging 53,916 per match

#3.Napoli: a total of 866,549, averaging 45,608 per match


Highest attended game: The Milan derby, 80,018
