Fiorentina would be a fantastic environment for Marrone. Though they are a dangerous rival for the Champions League places I'd be very happy to see Marrone developed as an anchor in Montella's system and under the wing of Ambrosini and Pizarro from whom he can learn so much. I know that he has received criticism for certain midfield performances from Juventus fans at times, however he has mostly been robbed of consistent time in one position. Given a consistent run in midfield I feel that he could even come into contention for a World Cup place if he chooses his next move wisely as a back-up for De Rossi as the national team lacks a physical alternative now that Thiago Motta has faded from the setup.

As for Roma, they should simply trust in Destro. I'd hold onto Borriello as an alternative if he's willing to stay. Bringing in Gilardino would simply be treading water as a side.

And also Genoa have already reached agreement with Napoli for Gamberini..Astori in Gamberini out.

That leaves Napoli with Albiol,Cannavaro,Astori,Britos..Very meh pair of CB's...

Albiol---Astori is arguably an improvement on what they have had in the past, the major issue for Napoli will be ensuring proper protection in midfield and the balance of their fullbacks. Whilst Gamberini was a solid defender in his prime he is 32 now and his departure is unlikely to really hurt them. Will be interesting to see if Fernandez is allowed to depart given that Gamberini is leaving now.

Either ways 4 decent CB's for a 4 man backline would do imo.Dont they have Bruno Uvini on their books as well ? Just in case if any cover is needed.

He's not going to sell his favourite player for anything less than an obscene amount this close to the end of the window.

This is the same club that rejected 20m for Tiote last summer and offers of 25 and 30m for Carroll before we sold him for 35m.

27 but it was always expected tbh, we don't sell our best players unless we get ridiculous offers.

Arsenal might as well look elsewhere, they are going to get nothing from us.
