Why are they wasting a WM on Hogan. Cena should be going after The Undertaker.

WWE are scared to do that match for some reason.

Taker Cena will be Taker's last match. I'm guessing they would book it as Cena losing but still ending his career ?

It's a risky move, but they should try and bring a new Undertaker.

Roman Reigns is the perfect guy for it. Maybe something like, Undertaker doing some magic shit and saying Reigns is his long lost son. Then Reigns comes dressed as the Undertaker next RAW.

Nah if they wanted to replace Taker long-term they'd have to find somebody of a similar size who could do the moveset.

I don't know about you but I can't see Reigns chokeslamming Kane.

They should leave Takers gimmick for a long time when he's done instead of finding a dodgey storyline and replacing him with some scrub.

We noted before that WWE had been planning to do Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. That was discussed back when Show was feuding with The Authority.

The plan was for Show to be on top and go through Randy Orton and Triple H, but not win the title, but come out of the program as a strong main eventer. The idea was to make Show strong for Lesnar at the Rumble so Lesnar would look stronger for The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX.

Regarding Lesnar vs. Undertaker, there had been some concern because Lesnar works such a physical style and Taker is in really rough shape physically. This is why there was some talk of Sheamus facing Taker.

Another issue with Lesnar facing Taker is that a lot of Taker's opponents, if not all, over the past several years have secretly worked out their match with him and practiced it. There was some concern over whether or not Lesnar would be willing to put in that much time preparing.

It's said that The Undertaker asked to work with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX. No word yet if it was discussed internally or anything.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter still reports that Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena is planned for WrestleMania XXX. We noted earlier in the week, via PWInsider, that the match was something discussed before WWE decided to unify the titles and before they made Randy Orton champion with the idea Bray could win the Royal Rumble and go on to challenge Cena.

Former WWE world champion Daniel Bryan recently appeared on an episode of Steve Austin's podcast to discuss the expansion to a third hour of Raw.

Bryan, who just joined forces with the Wyatt Family, explained how draining the show can be on those who "haven't gotten over yet."

"I think the biggest difference to me is the acts that are just starting to get over, they have a much harder time in that third round," Bryan said. "Around 10:15 p.m. or 10:20 p.m., when (the fans) have already seen John Cena, CM Punk, Triple H; going out there with a cold match, people are not quite into you yet, sometimes it is really, really hard for those guys.

"A lot of time by the third hour, the crowd is tired."

Bryan told Austin that he prefers "being on in those first two hours" unless he is involved in "something special."

As someone who came up grinding away, Bryan still realizes that - regardless of the time the bout occurs - being on television is the key to future growth.

"I got over doing unimportant matches," he said. "They would say, 'we've got segments to fill, let's throw Daniel Bryan out there with somebody.'"

Not being funny but if Taker can't properly wrestle one match per year then it's time he retired gracefully. I don't blame taker of course but WWE need to wrap up his legacy this WM imo

What good is it pairing him up against wrestlers who aren't 1/10th as good as his previous WM opponents. Before the bell rings there's no doubt taker will win.

At least with top wrestlers you get the small feeling of 'Maybe THIS YEAR is the end of the streak' and that's what gives these matches relevance

Throw in a returning Sheamus or somebody of his likes and you have yourself the grandest squash match of them all. Basically a glorified jobbing match.

I'll damn sure miss him, but he's been practically retired for years now. I don't want to see him struggling in a ring after 2 minutes somewhere in the not too distant future.

Another idea that was discussed for Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XXX is to have him team with John Cena and Daniel Bryan to face The Wyatt Family in a six-man match.

There's a feeling that Hogan won't be able to pass the physical so he won't end up wrestling but it's possible WWE doctors can let him go out and do very limited physical work.

We noted before that Batista is back in WWE for likely the next two years. He actually wanted to come in for a "final run" as opposed to just WrestleMania XXX season.

As noted before, part-time WWE Superstar Rob Van dam will be appearing for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling promotion in Houston, Texas on January 11th at the Clear lake Sports and Recreation Center.

RVD is also scheduled for a VIP meet and greet that night
PWInsider reports that current plans call for Van Dam to return to the company for WrestleMania XXX season at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month.

WWE wanted to lock RVD in through Extreme Rules in April, but that was longer than the 90 day window he had agreed to.

Its being said that his appearance at Booker T's promotion could be a warm-up for his return but it's not confirmed that he will be wrestling that night.
