Along similar lines, do you lads really want a group name that's going to be almost exactly the same as hundreds or others? "Guardians of the Galaxy" and immediate variations thereof are going to be a dime a dozen with the popularity of the movie and the fact that the characters are "guardians."

f you lads really DO want to do something with GotG I'd suggest one that's at least pretty obvious... something like Guardians of GoalLegacy or some such.

If we can be bothered

Everybody puts forward 3 names, we all vote on 1 from each person. THEN, put those into a final poll, and see which one wins. There's not many people so there will probably be a draw though.

It'd be nice to have the group up and running prior to the game's release in 4 days, so big voting systems really aren't optimal.

Who's getting this on Xbox One?

The servers are up and Bungie employees apparently got early access and there's been a bit more information released:

2 new raids - Crota's End and one based in The Reef... both may be added with the coming expansion packs.

2v2 Crucible matches, more Crucible maps.

The "Lock Subclass" option has been removed.

Also, they may have added a new stat to weapons that controls how much inventory space weapons fill.

Because of the masses of groups that will be made, the only way it would really be unique if it was something stupendously random.

Keeping it simple but uncommon enough I.E no words that will 100% be overused such as Guardian, Elite, Beasts, Legends, any variation of Destiny, Dream/Dream team ( ) is as good as we can do.

I agree, the thing is with most online focused games, the developers usually have hundreds of their own people in a closed server playing the game, and reviewers are usually entered into that server once they get their review copies, and then kicked out on release day.

I know with Diablo 3's original release on PC for example, review copies were sent out a couple of weeks in advance and then embargo'd upon release.

Obviously, in hindsight reviewers should have waited until launch day to judge the final game, since it was always online and D3 servers were effed on launch day. I don't know we'll see, but this news doesn't fill me with confidence. Activision may be envisioning another Diablo 3 fiasco and are panicking. But thinking about, if another Diablo 3 fiasco does occur, delaying reviews will make it worse, since reviewers will actually take the issues into account in their final review score, and mark the game down, whilst if they had reviewed the game before release, they would have given it a higher score since there would have been no issues.

I don't know, it's just a thought. It might be something else.

You could experience the storyline, jump into a few rounds of competitive multiplayer, and form a Fireteam of friends and take on all the Strikes and you would just be getting started. After thousands of internal playtests, an internal Alpha, and a public Beta, we’ve also learned that Destiny isn’t Destiny without the most crucial component to our living, social world: You.

From the beginning, we set out to make Destiny feel like more than bits on a drive. We wanted to build a place for players to visit – a place filled with luminous life. Without a vibrant population for the last safe city on Earth, and Guardians roaming the wild frontiers, Destiny is a shadow of what it should be. That’s not how we wanted to submit for review.

We explored several options to populate the world for reviewers. Our team estimates it would take thousands of gamers to ensure each potential public space in Destiny would be populated – that every activity would be accessible at all hours of the day and night. Where on Earth would we be able to find thousands of gamers?

The answer, again, is you.

So, reviews of Destiny will wait for your arrival. On day one, you’ll be rubbing elbows with the pageant judges, so look sharp. Who knows, you may end up on one of their live streams. They may end up on one of yours, too!

For us, this is a first – a new experience. It’s a bit of a risk, too. We fully anticipate seeing day one reviews from folks who decide to kick the tires, but don’t have the time or patience to take our ride for a nice, long road trip. Some of you might wait to pick up a copy until you read the final verdict from your most trusted review house. We’re okay with that. We’ve created something we’re proud of.
