Batista vs Orton.
The outcome of the match is clearly obvious.

Orton vs The Animal
Still hopping Lesnar and maybe Cena somehow get into that matchup, but mainly Lesnar. That standoff with the three of them in the ring last night

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
One thing I don't get, is why the WWE exaggerates the heights and weights of some of their wrestlers. Batista for example, is not 6"6, that's for damn sure. I know it's meant to help them seem more intimidating, but's it's such a shady practice.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
Yeah it's pretty stupid
I remember back in the day they billed batista as 6'5 and Orton as 6'4
Orton has at least 2 inches on him.
And also back in the day to stick to the 'worlds largest athlete' nickname, they Billed big show as weiging more than Viscera. V had 50 pounds on him at least
A good few people get legit height/weight billings. But even ones like Daniel Bryan look exaggerated
No way in hell does Bryan weigh over 200 pounds.

WWE officials have reportedly "given up" on Sin Cara with Hunico under the mask already. They're likely keeping the character around for merchandise sales and because he's in the upcoming Scooby Doo WrestleMania movie.

I've seen the original Sin Cara fight maybe 5 times maximum, but I remember reading about him being signed and officials thinking it was a big deal and he was a future main eventer, I'm also pretty sure I read HHH was the person instrumental in bringing him to WWE? Glad he flopped.

He was a HHH product, but there will always be failed projects. I'm talking about HHH so we can cut back on shit like this scooby do crap.
When HHH has taken charge of RAWs they've generally had great ratings.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
PWInsider has confirmed reports that negotiations are ongoing between Sting and WWE. Word is that a decision must be made within the next 2 weeks on whether or not Sting is going to join the company.
Several factors are being worked out right now including scheduling and what Sting is and isn't willing to do creatively. This does not mean Sting is definitely coming to WWE and he could very well work another year with TNA but the impression has been given that Sting realizes if he's going to have a run with WWE, this is the time.
The impression was also given, within WWE, that there will not be a match against The Undertaker, at least at this year's WrestleMania event. However, the idea of Sting debuting at WrestleMania XXX with some kind of cameo or vignette has been discussed.
There's also a feeling that Sting is the face of WCW and with WWE promoting a lot of WCW content on the Network, he could be an asset there. Sting is considered a fresh, unique face when they are used to using people like Ric Flair and Diamond Dallas Page to promote their WCW projects.
While it was believed on Monday that no deal had been signed yet, RF Video's Rob Feinstein noted on Facebook this morning that he heard Sting signed a deal with WWE in the last 24 hours, for what it's worth.

Josh Stewart has an article at this link about Mick Foley's rant about last Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. When asked via text message if his rant was a work, Foley replied, "not a work at all on my part. I was just calling it like I saw it."

Mick Foley promised he would destroy a TV in protest of WWE's recent treatment of Daniel Bryan. Above is video of Foley destroying a TV with a baseball bat at his home today.
Foley tweeted:
"Technically, I kept my word and smashed my TV, but it's a #RoyalRumble-esque letdown. Used s bat, because a brick would have bounced off TV."

Probably mad that Vince keeps bringing back part time former stars and giving them the top spots.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
how ironic it'll going to be when CM Punk takes a year or two off then Vince gives him that Lesnar/Batista part time contract and gives him the top spot.
Read on news sites that people don't think it's an angle, but you can never tell with WWE pulling this stuff in the past.

Lol I was thinking that
I normally agree with Punks actual opinions though, and tbf he was legitimately pissed off even when he was in line to win the Championship off of Cena in Chicago.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
word is punk left after being informed that Bryan will face HHH not him. Apparently he was hoping to be in the main event of Mania but that wasnt gonna happen. And since HHH is no longer an option he was gonna be given a filler pointless match (jericho lol). He'll be back sooner or later..

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 9
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that CM Punk told WWE that he was going home right before RAW started this past Monday night, which was why the show had to be re-written at the last minute.
WWE apparently did not see it coming, although they expected him to leave in July when his contract expired. Punk admitted in an interview last week that "everything is up in the air" in regards to his future with the company after his contract expires.
We noted last night that Punk was still appearing on the event page for Elimination Chamber, despite being removed from all other upcoming events. He was removed from the Elimination Chamber event page early this morning.
While Meltzer said that he wasn't sure exactly what incident led to him finally leaving, he said that Punk had seemed generally frustrated over the past year. It was noted that he wanted to be the top guy in the company, and knew that it wouldn't happen with John Cena on top. Punk has been saving his money and has made a lot over the years, and felt like he didn't need to stay with the company if he didn't want to.
PWInsider added that there was talk that Punk was either supposed to lose to Antonio Cesaro on RAW after Kane interfered, or do a promo about Kane eliminating him at The Royal Rumble. Either way, he was scheduled to be on the show.
Punk was originally scheduled to face Triple H at WrestleMania XXX, however after RAW it appears as if Daniel Bryan will be replacing Punk in that match.
The last message that Punk posted on his Twitter was on Monday night, which could be taken as a farewell. He wrote: "Thanks for all the support. Keep being you guys, it's pretty cool."
