Who goes in the summer/current squad roster

Just been looking at all our current players for next season, who should we be moving on and maybe not sending back out on loan? Currently at the club we have:

For me in the summer ideally I think we'd get rid of:
Eto'o(contract expires)
Ba(sell to lower PL club)
Hilario(just play youth in cup games, they'd be better than him anyway)
Kalas(loan, i'd prefer our CB's next season looks like Terry/Cahill/Luiz/Zouma)
Romeu(doesn't look like he's going to make it, hasn't really impressed at valencia from what I hear)
Kakuta(somehow sell him, unfortunate that he's never lived up to his potential)
Bertrand(not really good enough, anything he can do Azpi can do better)
Marin(sell to Sevilla)

What are your thoughts? If we sold this many players we'd get some free space on the wage bill, in the squad and also hopefully some funds for the CF we need.

Think Eto'o, Ba, Hilario, Luiz and possibly Cole will be gone come the start of next season. One of Cech/Courtois may also leave as well, let's not forget. Among the loaness, Marin, Moses, Kakuta (hopefully), and possibly Romeu too. So there's certainly some money and saved wages to be made this summer.

Yeah keeper situation is a tricky one. Courtois will surely be first choice next season so we will have to see what happens with Cech. Why do you think Luiz will leave? Cole might, if we got shaw id be fine with that.

Just don't think Mourinho rates him.

Maybe, I feel like maybe he just wants him to show more maturity. If he plays like we know he can he's easily our best CB.

Been hearing that since he signed mate, and that was over 3 years ago now. Can we honestly say he's any significantly better now than he was 12 months ago? 24? I'd say no on both. Only so far the "he'll be world class in a few years" line will take him.

He's country miles ahead of Cahill and can actually pass, only reason he's not playing is because we were leaking goals and he's more rash. He's similar to Lucio in that he'll hit his prime late 20s/early 30s.

So we leak goals with him in the side, but he's still better than Cahill, who alongside Terry have made up the best defence in the league to date.

He's just more likely to take a risk, the leaking goals was a whole team thing but in terms of how Mourinho wanted to fix it he just put in 2 no-nonsense defenders in Terry and Cahill; they offer nothing going forward but will be reliable in a just clear it out type of way.

If we sell it we'll regret it.

Terry and Cahill have been the first choice centre-half pairing all season and the only time we could be said to have been 'leaking goals' was that 2-game blip where we conceded 3 to Sunderland and Stoke back to back (and he started neither of those matches anyway). That was in December, and he's been on the periphery since the word go this season - his exclusion has nothing to do with that. Mou simply doesn't rate him.

Outside of Southmapton and Newcastle none of those teams should trouble us. It wasn't just that we were letting in disgustingly bad goals. If Mourinho insists that Luiz is a midfielder though he should be sold. He's worse than Ramires there.

If it were up to me, I'd have a clearance sale with our loanees.

MID: Matic, Ramires, Mikel, Lampard, MVG (If Lampard leaves, bring in another CM
AM: Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Schurrle, Salah
CF: New CF, Lukaku, Torres

You're all forgetting chalobah, he should be in next seasons squad and tbh he could replace Luiz, he offers the same versatility as Luiz but is more if a no nonsense type player which mou will prefer

If this next few months go well for him, yes. I'd agree, if they don't, loan him out again.

^ That will be dependent on his performance at Boro for the remainder of the season.

Yeah but 1 in 4 EPL would mean he could grab 40+ goals in the dutch league or la liga

Anyway, unless we can strike some sort of deal with Atleti, I don't see Torres leaving.
