Question for barca fans

It is the last day of the season. Barca is out of the running, but atletico needs to win to stop real from taking the title. Would you be ok with barca throwing the match?

Its an opinion that can vary. Personally I would want to throw it for RM not to win, but at the same time it would be wrong to do that. I'd rather keep the pride at the end of the day and considering its a home game don't see it happening.

Uhmmm. I don't think Barca could beat Atleti if they wanted. Last 3 games: 3 draws, 1 goal.

By the end of the season they really have to roulate their squad, and there is less quality in there. for us, alot of players have been rested big time for the end of the season (xavi hasnt played 5 matches in total since the beginning of the season)

Barcelona have less depth than Atleti IMO. Just 1 injury to Nerman and you already have to rely on Tello to rescue the day.

if its the last two weeks and our position wont change give it to atletico madrid, no need to risk our important players on a meaningless match, especially world cup year.

I can't imagine any team would do this.
Sure Barca may not give 100% but I doubt they'd throw the match, the outcry afterwards could land the club in hot water.

well Barca do not usually use their first teamers in pointless match especially the month before the world cup, players will be focusing in the world cup and not getting injured.

On topic: yes. But that's a fan's answer. A player might want to win all the time anyway, just out of self respect. Some players are fans (mostly the canteranos) and might be conflicted, but a lot of them are not.

If we have nothing to play for and Atletico do, they would wreck us. In all my years watching Barca, I have seen that when we have nothing to play for, we are a disaster. Our game seems to require some a level of intensity and meaning, without it, we lack everything.
