Question for Barca fans....

Would you give up...

Messi to have Ronaldinho back?
Fabregas to have Deco back?
Villa for Eto'o?
Sanchez for Henry?

(All in their Barca-primes.)

Messi-Ronaldinho-Messi
I am not sure about Deco-Fabregas unless Deco plays 2nd fiddle to Iniesta. We want Iniesta playing in the midfield.
I would take a prime Eto'o definitely
Sanchez-Henry.......probably Sanchez

Messi for Ronaldinho? No, but I'd trade other players for Ronnie.

Fabregas for Deco? In a heartbeat.

Villa for Eto'o? Villa has never been used in the same way Eto'o was. He's been a left-wing almost exclusively and so a better comparison is Henry. Henry or Villa? I'd take Villa, Henry was great, but I think in form Villa is better. Villa is given much less space too. As soon as teams adapted to Barca (after the treble year), Henry struggled.

Sanchez for Henry/Eto'o? Yes, but Sanchez is young and hopefully will improve.

We have yet to see Sanchez in his prime in Barcelona in my opinion, as much as I love Dinho, you cannot replace Messi.. you just can't

Uh. No to all but Deco for Fabregas.

Villa Eto'o isn't even a solid comparison, completely different roles.

Sanchez is still like 22, yeah Henry was better in his prime but Sanchez has many bright years ahead of him.

Villa-Etoo-
I cant really choose as Villa hasnt been used in his proper position.Etoo was godly however.

My answer is that I don't want any of those players. I just want the starting 11 of 2010-11 back fully fit.

^Agreed. I loved 2010-11 and everyone at the best and fully fit. Beautiful to watch. Fabregas will improve. Eto should have stayed as he was better than Ibra and Villa at the time and could also be shifted onto the wing.

Nice comments. My only disagreement is that while Eto'o would have of course adapted to the wing, I think he would have expressed grave displeasure at being made to move away from the center.

Thankyou... has everybody forgotten how important he was for us? Can't believe even one of you have said Cesc? What has Cesc done for us yet? The man has a long, long way to being better than Deco.

I would get Ronnie back if he could play to Pep's philsophy. Remember Ronnie plays well when he has space, thats when he gets into the groove and perfroms tricks after tricks. Though for Messi is another thing... The trio of Ronnie, Eto and Messi was great. Add the midfield trio of today (Businestiavi) then we would be unstoppable. Deco was brilliant and it was a shame he left.

I look at it in perspective. Deco is his prime was most def. better than what Cesc has shown us, but he wasn't as good as Iniesta and Xavi are. Or let me put it differently, I would always play Xaviesta instead of Deco. And I don't think a Deco in his prime would like to sit on the bench. This Cesc is more willing to do so. Therefore: Cesc.

I don't get why a lot of people choose Henry over Alexis. I loved Henry as a player at Arsenal and he was far from useless when he came to us but he was hardly his top form self. Why switch a young up and comer for an old hero past his prime?
