Predict the Score

There was something like this on here before, but it stopped. Also seen it in a few club sections.

Rules

CORRECT RESULT = 2 POINTS

If you get the result right, then it's 2 points. So if Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-0 and you said 1-0, then it's 2 points.


EXACT SCORE = 5 POINTS

If you get the exact score right, then it's 5 points.


EVERY prediction in the round must be made no later than 10 minutes before the earliest game. Any predictions after that won't be counted.


If you want to edit a prediction for a match that is yet to kick off, however another match has already started, then you must post all your predictions again, excluding the matches that have started.


OPTIONAL BONUS:

Predict all the goalscorers in the match and it's 10 points.

Updated rule: The prediction has to be exact. So if Ronaldo scores the only goal of a match and you predict Ronaldo and someone else, you will only receive 1 point. Same with if you predict multiple goals for Ronaldo, when he only scores 1 goal.


Predict some of the goalscorers, but not all of them = 1 point.

If you predict a goalscorer correctly but get the result wrong, you will still get a point/10.


If a match ends in a draw, then this bonus won't decrease/increase your score even if you predict goalscorers.


For the 'goalscorers guessed' column, you get a point for every goal a player scores. So if you guess 2 goals for a player and he scores 2 goals, you will get 2 points. This is different to the bonus rule, where you don't get a point for every goal.



In future there will be different/additional bonuses.

BTW, I'd suggest the 0 points should only be given per match, not per week.

Yeh was thinking that, sounds like a better idea.

I've visited plenty of football forums, and GL seems to be the only forum where every fan is absolutely, and I mean absolutely desperate to pretend like their own team is shit, and will lose to coming game.

In short, I have to predict the scorers and get at least one correct. Otherwise I get 0!!!???
