You mad?
Why so agressive? Went out against a superior team so what? At least you were lucky you got one goal gifted by the ref and Müller didn't score the penalty. Oh and the ref didn't see Vermaelen bringing down Lahm in the box. Be happy you have a draw. You could celebrate it as a trophy. Might look good next to the 4th place trophy

Are Kroos and Muller definitely down the pecking order?
Both are too good to be accepting bench roles when most other clubs would take them with open arms.

Re: Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Arsenal
imo for counter attacking game you guys clearly lacked someone like walcott...I didnt see any end product to any counter attack, may be hardly 1 or 2...Bayern were clearly troubled when you pressed them high up the pitch, they made several mistakes when you pressed them highLex wrote:Both?HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:ok so tell me when were Bayern most troubled, when being pressed or on the counterLex wrote:What are you guys on about? How often do you need to apply WD40 to stop them rusting with age?zigra wrote:And know what it's like to win an actual trophyLex wrote:Could be worse, I could support Ajaxzigra wrote:

What absolute garbage. Lahm was having his own mini game with Martinez and Robben on who can dive the most without getting a card. The match was on ITV so they probably thought might as well give an audition for The Splash. Every Bayern player going down after a slightest of touch. Was embarrassing to watch.
And stfu about trophies. Wigan would win that shitty Eredevise every year they would be in there. Pathetic competition on par with the Korean League

Müller played 36 games (including today) so far and started 29 of them. Kroos has even better numbers (38 games, 34 starts). Don't think they are down the pecking order just because they don't start EVERY game.Tomwin Lannister wrote:Are Kroos and Muller definitely down the pecking order?

Got to say that it would have been interesting if Ramsay wasn't injured for both legs. He could have had a say in this tie imo.

Re: Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Arsenal
Arsenal did all right over the two games, but to beat Bayern they would have needed to do brilliantly, play the best football of their season.
And creating chances was difficult for them because Giroud is too easy to keep quiet.
Yet Bayern didn't look like they were in top gear in this match, they could have played better if they needed to, imo.

Re: Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Arsenal
How the *bleep* can you say tactics were spot on?
There was only one team playing and that team was not Arsenal. Bayern could have killed the time by keeping possession. There was no pressing from Arsenal, no intensity to put Bayern out of their comfort zone and no initiative to take the game to Bayern. They just sat back waiting for Bayern to make mistakes. As if Arsenal were 2-0 up and trying to protect their lead

Even if Arsenal had a full strength squad available, no one would ever fancy them over Bayern Munich.

Bayern vs Atleti would be a great tie imo. Considering Bayern dive without shame nowadays watch them get into a divefest with Atleti would be entertaining as hell

dany, that's why you're sat behind a computer TALKING about football and not out there MANAGING a football team. It's because when it comes to tactics, Kim Jong-un's quiff knows more than you

Wenger: "German specialist (Müller-Wohlfahrt) told us Mesut's injury us quite bad. Ham-string"
And you get people like ExtremistEnigma laughing at that.

Giroud is so, so, so shet. My words.
Ox had a good game and Arsenal's defence had a good game too.
From what I've seen of Bayern in these 2 games, I don't think they will win it this year. The cup has Real Madrid's name on it this season. (I hope not though, I want BvB to win it)

Re: Bayern Munich 1 - 1 Arsenal
Bayern have struggled to beat English sides in their home ground in the last 4 meetings. Its not a surprise at all, but they have themselves to blame here. They could wrapped the game up in the first half had a lot of nice plays, but either screwed it up, or Arsenal defend well against it. They don't seem to have that hunger this season.
