I've read reviews from people who seen Interstellar. They said it is great, easily one of the best movies of the year but nothing groundbreaking or something that would go down as one of the cinematic GOATs.

BvS news.

There are two Batsuits (we’ve seen them both before — he has a traditional Batsuit, and an armored Batsuit like in “The Dark Knight Returns”).

The armored suit has Kryptonite all over it, and it can shoot missiles.

There are two Batmobiles*.

Affleck has a shirtless scene as Bruce Wayne to show off his new physique.

The shirtless scene is beautifully shot and shows Affleck overlooking a destroyed city (probably Metropolis?).

Back to that discussion about superhero movies, etc...

I don't think anyone is arguing that superheroes cannot be entertaining. The undisputed points remain 1) the lack of originality of superhero films; and 2) the general lack of originality and diversity in mainstream cinema.

I would never fundamentally alter my opinion of someone based on their taste in films or music. I know some great people who, in my opinion, have terrible taste in movies. Nevertheless, let's not pretend that everyone isn't constantly judging and reacting to what everyone else does all the time. If a movie is so bad it makes you cringe, that's that. You shouldn't hide your own reaction.

That being said, meaningful, thought-provoking ideas being presented in well-made films are, in my mind, far more entertaining than the predictable, shallow and trite films which have become all too commonplace today.

Nolan isn't perfect either. His brother is by far the more talented writer.

Completely agree with you, Freeza.

Man of Steel for me was a fantastic piece of work as the ones demanding a more "Richard Donner" type work obviously did not see how Superman Returns was completely obsolete in the modern cinema.

I personally loved it as personally and objectively it was a very good film.

As for Nolan, great shout of Jonathan as people these days are much to focused on plying praise on Christopher considering the man behind him is his own flesh and blood. Chris Nolan while a good director can be lazy at times as a director, leaves many plot holes and easily exploits the less observant viewers.

Just made two wrong guesses. Thought Captain America would be Captain America: Fallen Son and did not see a Captain Marvel movie coming. Thought that would be a Black Widow film or Planet Hulk. I think Planet Hulk will be merged with GOTG.

And Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther is great casting. Marvel is spot on with their casting. Very likely that Doctor Strange will be Benedict Cumberbatch and Captain Marvel will be Emily Blunt.

Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther is the most obvious casting ever. But also the right one. Pretty sure I have called it before in this thread. Couldn't really see anyone else in that role. Since Michael B. Jordan was already cast, and there sadly is not enough great black actors in the 30 range.

Also people whining about superhero movies should shut the hell up and support the hundreds of indies that comes out every year, which I do by watching them at a local cinema for independant movies.

Hulk isn't the best thing about anything, scrub monster who's nearly invincible with a low I.Q that just smashes everything.

Boring, never liked him and the 2 standalone hullk movies just compounded that.

So Civil War will start Phase 3. That means Ant Man will end Phase 2 not Age Of Ultron. Interesting. Also Feige acknowledged the Cumberbatch rumors and said nothing is confirmed yet and said Hulk will appear in more than one of the Phase 3 films.

Black Panther on November 3, 2017 - played by Chadwick Boseman. Will first appear in Civil War.

Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) on July 6, 2018

Inhumans on November 2, 2018 - "will open the floodgates for new characters"

Avengers: Infinity War is two parts. May of 2018 and 2019

Andy Serkis was also confirmed as Hugo Klaw

This is their biggest phase yet with 8 films. Phases 1 and 2 consisted of six and five films each, respectively.

Just watched Starred Up... wow. Just wow.

Jack O'Connell.. what a talent, can't see this guy not turning into a star, it's one of the absolute best films of the year. Between that and Gone Girl from what I've seen.

Chadwick Boseman is one of the best out there in the middle 30 range imo. Watch 42, Draft Day, Get on Up. Great actor.

I'm interested to see the cast for Inhumans though I assume it will be quite a while before it is revealed. Vin Diesel has hinted before that he will be Black Bolt.

I did not deny he would not be yet he is a long way away from that. No multiple viewings of Inception will bring him closer.
