Vidal, probably the most complete player out there. And when I say complete I mean exceptional at most aspects of his game, not somebody like Grosskreutz who's average at everything Laughing

Schweiny when fit is up there.

Di Maria lately has been the excellent in attack and defence.

Lahm perhaps.

T Silva and Barzagli for defence aswell.

But then, Kevin Großkreutz can play every position on the pitch including goalkeeper. Beat that!

There are 11 positions on the field including goalkeeper. I'd start Vidal ahead of Grosskreutz in at least 10 of them. :coffee:

Perfect doesn't always have to mean complete imo. As I said, it can be someone who's really really good at what they do. They can have weaknesses, however somehow they cover them up and don't make them apparent.

Also someone who rarely ever makes any mistakes, shows high intelligence and turns up in the big games.

All are close to perfection sometimes in terms of what they are required to do imo.

Almost completely useless in attack, but class on defense. Fullbacks need to do more then defend in modern football.

Matic for me is the perfect DM; strong, creative(for a dm), technical, fast, stamina, etc.

I agree about Matic but i didn't include him because he's been at chelsea for only 1/3 year.

He's been bossing for over a year now, He was this good at Benfica and won player of the season for all of the Portuguese league last year too.

As for as midfield goes De Rossi has once again demonstrated how complete he is. Strootman should also be mentioned. Together with Vidal, they are among the best in Europe in both phases in the game.

What sets De Rossi apart however is his defensive acumen. His intelligence defensively is off the charts tactically.

Tom Cleverley

jk, had to just acknowledge somehow that RED said Jordan Henderson Proud

When I think the roles they play for their clubs, the following seem pretty perfect for those roles (BPL only):

Suarez
Walcott
Cech
Gerrard
Zabaleta
Yaya Toure
David Silva

You can only have 11 at a time

Well then, i'd start Vidal in 29 out of 30 positions.
