Honestly though, watching this game, I am glad we sold DL4, horrible captain skills, horrible defending and horrible performance.
Oscar cannot be blamed. Neither can Fred, really.
The rest though, should be slammed especially Gustavo and Fernandinho who were non-existent at times.

It was staggering.
To think people were very earnestly talking a year or two ago about him being our next captain after JT is gone

He has the potential. Just not the mentality.
Or as today has shown, the ability to step up.

Well well. Look who was one of that biggest backers of it back in the day
-
(And also look at who was leading the charge against it from the get-go )

As long as Argentina beat the Netherlands tomorrow, I will be a happy man.
It'd be even better if Germany won the final though.

ANYONE but Holland. Last thing we need is the blowhard English press able to greet the incoming manager of their favouritest club arriving as a World Cup champion. They'd be a unanimous firehose of cum, if you'll pardon the imagery.

Re: Chelsea at Brazil – 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
I know Brazil as a whole was in shambles but D. Luiz's performance everything he did was completely random, exactly like a 10 years old boy playing Fifa was controlling him.
I mean okay, we're familiar with D. Luiz's inconsistency as a CB but I wonder how the 50 M even came up.
I find it hard that PSG would just knock our door and offer us that amount, Mou or whoever negotiated did a very good job

@Jay, I just saw some say something along the lines of: Whoever got the better part of 50m from PSG for DL4 deserves a medal.

They were not major players though, I'd even blame Mert for Oscar's goal.
