Feeling so depressed and disheartened after this Burnley result.

Felt same after that Bradford loss. It literally took me weeks to recover! And I couldn't watch any Chelsea game in the meantime befor the PSG game.

But we're still on top with a fairly good margin.

Still 5 points clear, plus City also drew with Burnley at home.

Also, Man City's next two games are home to Barca and away to Liverpool.

Sort of ironic, even. For a side as supposedly defensive as ours is, it's precisely our defence that's been the thorn in our side recently. Though that's not to discount, of course, the fact that the side as a whole have been subpar for months now.

Indeed, we could really use some fresh faces.

I was overwhelmed by life lately and I missed some Chelsea matches but yea, our form since december/january has been way below the scintillating standard set in the first months of this season.
On the bright side we won COC, which is good altho I prefer FA Cup, and our competitors for the title have been even worse than us.

Oh and pls, I'll say it for eternity, but bad defence as a whole =/= bad defenders individually and good defence as a whole =/= good defenders individually. Defending is something that you must do with every player and if a defence is bad 90% of the times is because the defenders are not helped enough and because the coach doesn't set up the team defensively right.
These faces were comfortably regarded as the best back 4 unit in the world until not so long ago
