Single player doesn't interest me apart from the odd career mode run

It's all about online for me. Specifically Pro Clubs. Having a bunch of people you know on a team together putting dem sexy plays together is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> having a game on your own against bots.

While that's true, it still had issues. Glad to some of the gameplay issues being not only fixed but vastly improved upon. For example a lack of responsiveness.

Do agree that's all about how the online works at the end of the day.

They have improved it tbf and continue to do so, think there is more modes for online than ever this year.

It's just Fifa is a lot better in that regard. I suppose they believe if the online is good enough the core gameplay would bridge the gap.

Tomb raider is a good franchise, but it's a series that basically disappeared for a generation and a half, ain't nobody going to switch allegiances or buy an xbox 1 (If they had no intention of doing so prior to this) just to play a tomb raider game. And it's not even the next few installments, it's a one off Laughing

Used to play all of the GT games even the originals on ps1 ffs Proud

But I got GT5 and even though it might just be me and not the game, it just felt so boring.

Cars felt crap, music was awful, customisation options were basically the exact same as the old games and the A-spec career mode type thing was pretty damn boring as well.

Took driving simulator to the extreme imo to the point where it felt like a sunday drive in a shitty soccer mom car.

Yeh, only the GT's on PS2 were good imo. GT5 didn't really feel like an upgrade.

GT 3 ffs

Played that all the time ffs. Always got intimidated by those 'polyphonic' race cars that were OP and I remember one race where to enter it you had to have a Pagani Zonda.

If you won, you unlocked the Zonda race car which was a lot better.

All of the AI had Zonda race cars and obviously you had to beat them to unlock one Laughing

That's true and I don't expect it to be any different this year tbh.

As long as it's enjoyable to play I'm satisfied, I can always get fifa too if I want to enjoy it's online offerings.

And I most likely will.

That's unacceptable by Konami imo.

PES NEEDS to be great. Look how complacent Fifa has gotten because PES is basically a non-factor.

They've been hyping up how GOAT the Fox engine is and how amazing this years game will be. They've basically had 2 years developing this game.
It needs to be great.

PES decline is the reason FIFA are so *bleep* lazy ffs

It benefits EVERYBODY except EA workers if PES can do something

FFS my favourite game mode on fifa hasn't had a single change implemented in to it aside from picking your own kit numbers in 4 years.

EA can sit back, do nothing but pump out virtual UT cards for money because nobody is going to say "*bleep* this i'm buying PES from now on"
