Germany in 2010 were at their best. This time they are a bit weaker. If Brazil do what Ghana did then they can beat them

BORUSSIA!! wrote:All this we're going to lose because of no Neymar is getting annoying from Brazil. France, Colombia, and Germany didn't make such a fuss when they lost Falcao, Ribery and Reus. If Brazil lose I hope they don't bring up this "No Neymar" excuse. Germany is capable of beating them with or without him.
Nobody is saying that we will lose because of Neymar (at least nobody here in Brazil) and if we do lose,it is a very good excuse. When you play without the best CB in the world and without our best forward it's like we are losing half of our starting 11.

About France,Colombia and Germany not complaining, it's a completely different situation since we lost Neymar on a semi final, not before the WC.

Its not just because of Neymar. Sudden lost is bad because attack system will change and you must adapt to your new system. Its the same with Argentina and Di Maria

I'm starting feel very much like France before the quarter No

This will not be easy, have a feeling Brazil might deliver their best game yet.

When a team loses it's best player the rest of the team tends to raise it's level. This is true for almost every team in sports, not just football.

First he trained a 4-3-3 with Fernandinho-Gustavo-Paulinho then we went 4-2-3-1 with Willian instead of Paulinho and later Bernard instead of Oscar.

One thing is for sure though, he kept insisting on attacking the German left side because of Howedes. He also trained a lot of hoofy hafa to simulate what France and Algeria did, again mainly hoofing it towards Howedes' flank and also towards Lahm's flank. If Neuer pulls one of those sweeper moves again then he better get it right because unlike Algeria we will have more than 1 forward in attack

That's pretty awful if Scolari is going to start with Fernandinho - Gustavo - Paulinho.

What I would do is I'd try and replace the loss of Neymar by bringing on two creative players, Willian and Hernanes:

Fernandinho - Gustavo
Oscar - Hernanes - Willian
Hulk

Or then drop Oscar and have Hulk there and Jo/Fred up top. Anyway, I don't think Fred should start, he is just too easy to defend against and doesn't do much anything out there, so might as well play Hulk as CF, I think that could work pretty nicely.

ll Will Lol hard after Brazil nicks this one. It would have been better with neymar though. Can't still believe Neymar will miss this game, something is not just right bout this.. Its a strange occurrence considering the situation. But somehow I believe something would definitely develope/come up.
Two likely scenarios will come out of this 1.Brazil looses and elevates the neymar legend and makes him more important in the football order 2. Brazil goes ahead to win the world cup and makes Neymar a world champion which, well, would take Neymar to another footballing stratospheric level and silence all Brazilian doubters. Meanwhile (I see neymar taking the meds and sit on the bench only to come up in the second half to make a legendary appearance on a legendary final). And all the debate will be ended forever.do we really think that there's not some truth in all those rumours? BTW the doctors are only denying it now to avoid expectation and distraction before the final, so they wouldn't come across as desperate...just watch the movie play.
BTW, I see fred taking Brazil to the finals :coffee: and
I see Neymar winning the title for Brazil  :coffee:

Who started in defence? Dante or Henrique? And Maicon or Alves?

Germany for the win, this will an advantage for German side after missing Neymar and Thiago Silva on the pitch, though the host nation is not an easy opponent, it will be somewhat a slim margin victory. I just hope that Germany will not make any errors like they did before with Costa Rica they have greater ball possession but not in their usual play.

Parreira (assistant coach) said we will have an aggressive approach (attacking wise),so I expect Willian to start and we will press like crazy a la confederations cup final.

According to ZDF, Christoph Kramer has been used/discussed over Khedira in training, the rest same as against France. But it is not known if he'll really play over Khedira.

While Bild are sure it'll be the same team we played against France.

If Fred/Jo starts then Scolari needs to be sacked asap.

Hulk, Willian, Oscar & Hernanes should start imo.

DAT Brazilian goalscoring complex. "Meh, it's not that important, we don't even care." Coming from the nation whose legendary strikers show off with the amount of goals they've scored in the backyard of their grandmother's houses 20 years after retirement. Proud Pls explain why Klose was booed when he came on against Ghana. Proud

Nice point. That tussle between Pele and Romario over this was so cheap and ridiculous.
