And Izet Hajrovic messes up the chance to score the 4:3 for Werder

Gotta give credit to Werder Bremen for their fighting spirit, they came back twice and just missed another huge opportunity.

entertaining game but some poor defending on show, Leverkusen deserved to win but they din't take their chances and defended like a pub team, Werder battled well to come back so they deserve the point.

Well Bayer's goal difference is 9:5 after 3 matches. They leak lots of goals, but score more. Sounds like Werder Bremen of old.

Kiessling has started the season well. Drmic is a scrub, cost Belgium a World Cup semifinal.

Leverkusen's aggression setting is on 100, whenever a player is on the ball they all press him rather than covering the open players. Bremen's first and second goals were big examples of that.

In the end though, Leverkusen only have themselves to blame tbh. Missed way too many chances, could have been leading 5-0 in the first half Laughing

I think Schmidt needs to rethink of the team's shape and mentality during the dying minutes of the game, leaves too much space due to player tiredness and the opposing team bringing on more attacking players.

Also you don't surrender that many set pieces, to a specialist like Calhanoglu he's going to hurt you.

He's talking about Drmic bottle job against Argentina.

I'm fairly certain the Swiss would've beaten Belgium.

Leverkusen should've finished off the match in the first half at 1-0. Conceded 2 quite similar goals thereafter due to a non-disciplined attacking game.

Bayern - Stuttgart 1:0 at HT

lineups:

Neuer - Badstuber, Dante, Boateng - Bernat, Alaba, Alonso, Lahm - Götze, Müller, Lewandowski

Ulreich - Klein, Schwaab, Rüdiger, G. Sakai - Oriol Romeu, Gentner - Harnik, Leitner, Ti. Werner - Ibisevic

Götze with a nice goal.
Badstuber injured shortly before half time, 17 year old Gaudino on for him

nothing with the knee though, seemed like a muscular problem.

leaving Draxler out and playing both Aogo and Fuchs.
Huntelaar on the bench.

what's going on there? Are they not fit? Or is Keller aiming for a early exit?

AFAIK Draxler is not fully fit (muscle strain). The Hunter isn't fully fit either.

First Kruse game after injury and immediately goal and two assists. Finally Max & Raffael duo is back, but I didn't expect that Schalke is soooooo shitty. They will be totally raped in London, I can't even imagine it.

Sommer was brilliant.
