this is my team ATM. I'm putting abnormal faith in Stevie G to replicate his penalty heroics from last year Plus he's also likely to provide assists with his set pieces. Nasri is a 10 goal MF IMO. Jovetic is the real wild card for me, though i just might replace him with Adebayor/Bony before Matchday 1.

Also, Barca legend Bojan is my 3rd Striker

Hard not to go for Stevie G being the set piece taker for a top PL team. He should get phat points this year again.

Plus I assume he'll be on free kicks all of the time without Suarez?

Yeah. Taking him would make a lot of sense, but it's just easier to think from an "open play" point of view. I dunno, I'm going to change my team Saturday morning anyway, so we'll see x)

So who's gonna be first choice CB pairing for United?

Im putting at least 2 United player in it, They gonna coast through those easy early fixtures.

No too sure about this, Sturridge will push Gerrard away a few times imo

Surely Stevie G outranks him tenfold when they're lining up for anything.

yeah but Stevie always allows them smaller kids to enjoy their football. Sturridge will take 50% atleast.

Gerrard should get a few goals at least from pens imo. But I'd still pick a regular midfielder who scores from open play over him.

Just remembered Sturridge is my captain anyway so I can live with that

Na Gerrard is a fantasy legend. Gives on average 190 points every year if he doesnt sustain injuries.

Toure should be ahead of him and maybe Hazard.

Thing is I don't like investing in defence lol, I had Roonay but sold him in favour of Giroud + money for Hazard.

I might smash half a United back line on my team but not sure it's worth taking out a stat padding midfielder for.

Put in one guy of United in defence. IMO

Got Rooney up front.

Now Roo is captain I kind of want him back.

Damn obviously. There are a handful of other options around that price, but you can't go wrong with Henderson.

So I'm happy with that

I got Roonay back, sold Sturridge because Roo has some piss easy fixtures coming up.

Swapped Stevie G for Mata.

Now i'm left with 5.5M to get a starting midfielder. Last years best for 5.5 were Sidwell, Noble, Shelvey and Mutch

Having an annoying dilemma here. I'm happy with the defence, happy with my attack so i'm definitely spending 5.5 tops on this midfielder. No idea how the likes of Noble will do, to me last season that 4 performed well above expectation.

Sadly 6 is no longer in my budget 5.5 is the max unless I sell Begovic and get a crap Goalie.

Azpi isnt guaranteed a start, He's competing with Ivanovic and Luis for those FB spots, and i think he ranks third in priority.

Henderson is a good pick for 6m IMO. Sissoko has potential at that price if he actually plays in bloody midfield but Henderson seems more of a safer pick.

Azpilicueta will start over Ivanovic imo.
