Re: Europa League 2014-15 - Pt.1
I don't think we were so lucky, considering we were seeding 1st pot . Dnipro can't be underrated, asking to Tottenham last year too , and Saint Etienne was the best of the 3rd after Everton , it was close to go in CL last year . There are worst teams than Saint Etienne in CL for example.
Anyway , if you want to win EL you must not be afraid about this group stage. We are the best team anyway , simply we can't underrated it
I remind Mazzarri lost 3-0 with Dnipro when he was Napoli manager
Anyway my thought is not on it .
I had just asked yesterday to avoid long travels.
Dnipro and Azerbaijan I don't understand because we must always go in East Europe. It is always this, both Champions League and Europe League, never Switzerland, Belgium etc
And expecially I don't want to play in Ukraina , PLS, I hope Platini will avoid this

@ robespierre, do you think Inter will take EL seriously? Don't you think they will reserve their (meager) resources to qualify for CL next season?

Re: Europa League 2014-15 - Pt.1
Mazzzarri didn't take seriously it when he was Napoli manager, NApoli was knocked out by Vikitoria Plzen 0-3 but this also because De Laurentiis wanted to snub it.
It's absurd that a club as Napoli snubs EL, we are not talking of Inter,Juve or Milan . It should be Napoli's dimension
Anyway Thohir doesn't want to snub it, you can understand he is not an Italian president from these things for him it's an important cup because it means to play in Europe, even if it is just Europe League, he declared it more times ( while De Laurentiis didn't hid his thought about it )
so I don't Mazzarri can make similar things made to Napoli
anyway we haven't a team for 3 cups in this moment imo , we need of take another in attack . We have just 3 CFs and sold Alvarez ( basically our SS ) in Sunderland

Good to see Everton got a tough group, hopefully it'll have an adverse impact on their Premier League campaign

Good group for Legia, they should be able to top it unless UEFA kicks them out
Copenhagen, HJK, Torino, Brugge is another group I like

Everton in a difficult group. They should beat Lille but could be difficult if they can't cope with the fixtures.

Is it this season that the winner gets into the CL if they win?

A fair amount of travel for Spurs in that group. I hope Poch can continue to get the most out of our second team but that should be an easily winnable group, just not sure how it will effect us in the league.

Re: Europa League 2014-15 - Pt.1
We ' ll play against Dnipro of GOATplanka .... Insidious team
The match will be played at Kiev because Dnipropetrovsk is in state of war
Basically we won the Champions League '09-'10 at Kiev in that comeback in gruop stage, good memories
Anyway we will play without Kovacic, in a great moment, because Obi provoked him an injury

Re: Europa League 2014-15 - Pt.1
PSV have a strong team but will be without Memphis for a while which could hurt them. I think with him in their team they can push pretty far in the competition. Feyenoord on the other hand have a decent team but are in poor form and have a tough group. Might not even make the knockout rounds.
I don't expect Lille to come out of their group.

Come down Lopes will lead Lille out of the group.
Also Lille is very good defensively and should keep a clean sheet in a few of the games. Also it all depends on if they take the competition seriously.

Everton and Wolfsburg are just better teams. If they don't take it seriously then Lille has a chance, but those two are superior to Lille.
PSV - Zoet; Brenet, Bruma, Rekik, Willems; Hendrix, Maher; Narsingh, Wijnaldum, Locadia; Luuk
A strong line-up even without Memphis in truth, but still need him to be their gamebreaker against strong teams.
