Re: Europa League 2014-15 - Pt.1
Pls Hans. Let's not start some revisionist history here. If only CL coefficients mattered the bundesliga would have not surpassed Italy in 2011. The reason that it did was that they outperformed Italy in EL matches. They didn't need to make it far, just farther than the Italian teams. I'm fairly certain this is a fact but am too lazy to look up the actual numbers.

ok, so basically what you describe as "doing a Bundesliga" could also be called "doing not completely embarrassingly bad in EL, but not that great either"

It was a fantastic match. Unfortunately Gladbach were way too wasteful. I just saw the stats on TV - Gladbach had 33 shots on goal in both matches together and only scored two goalsRealGunner wrote:Looks like a great match.
Gladbach were the better team in everything but efficiency *double facepalm*

instead this was the goal scored by Guarin against Celtic , it was very powerful .. if he didn't take the net , he would have killed anyone

Serie ZZ and La Liga dominating whilst bundesfodder and EPL (excluding Everton) spudding it up
