Cavani still playing as Ibra's bitch

Nothing changed this season.

Only time Cavani is allowed to play where he wants is when Ibra moves around and drops to pick up the ball.

Cavani just isn't on. It's that simple. I mean, you have a kid like Bahebeck that comes on and does more than him. Not to mention Cavani gets 3-4 solid chances a game.

Anyhow, great game by Reims. Got lucky... but took advantage.

Cavani isnt on? more like, we need to stop playing cavani on a wing and expect him to do wonderful things. Ok, his finishing is garbage atm, but his bread and butter is to be the last man to receive the ball and to shoot on goal. Not to be the one initiating a play outwide. his mojo is completely wrecked. He will not be productive for PSG this season if he isnt reassigned in a central bc right now, system >> him

What I noticed today Cavani is basically asked to play the whole game away from the ball. And I mean way way away from the ball. Until of course they get to the oppositions 18 yard box where he's asked to cross the ball from outwide or score tap ins or headers.

Even if Blanc plays Cavani-Ibra together, you know that the system will benefit Ibra the most. If the ball is moved to the right side of the pitch Ibra goes closer to the ball to either receive or play 1-2. Whereas Edinson is asked to go long and cover the area of the field no one is giving a shit about. And even when PSG get the ball rarely do they switch the play to Cavani.

You know when the old manager in place at a club ask for a player according to the system he plays, but that manager is sacked and the new one ends up with that new player on his hands and he doesnt really fit what he wants to do? that's cavani.

Cavani would have fit Ancelotti 4411 beautifully, Leonardo signed him before even knowing that Blanc wanted to do. Now it's too late, Cavani is a jaguar used as a taxi.

I am convinced that if it wasnt for the FFP holding PSG back, they would have sold him, brought in a proper back up CF, but dominant wing players to actually help Ibra.

I don't understand how can a Latin country to begin own league at the beginning of August considering the temperatures . and in the year of WC .... Strange choice
