11 pts off 4th place, 19 pts up on relegation. Inconsistent results. I am the Swansea City of FPL :coffee:

Making it my goal to get into the top 5 of the classic league though. At least that's something

Costa and Hazard were too much Sad

Sanchez has gone really cold, just one goal and no assists in his last seven matches. But I just know he'll start scoring big points again if I trade him off Neutral

Depends have you got Hazard or not, he's the only sensible replacement, imo. Maybe Silva, too, but I've got him. I haven't got Hazard, though, so I could make the trade. But on paper it's anybody's guess which one is going to score more points in the remaining games. Hazard has 11+7 this season while Sanchez has 13+7. Somehow Hazard has accumulated 11 more bonus points, though hmm #campaignagainstarsenal

Can't trade Sanchez off just yet, though, because Arsenal play Liverpool next round and that would be a guaranteed hat-trick for Alexis if I did that.

To be honest, none of the midfielders in the league are doing great right now. Having good forwards is where it's at. I have spent so much trying to have a good midfield that I have had to keep Defoe in my team for like a month, during which time he has done feck all, while if I had just weakened my midfield for strikers I would be doing so much better.

Loool you guys still sticking with Sanchez? Dropped him a few weeks ago. Ran out of steam, don't think he'll get a lot of goals/assists in the remaining matches.

Hazard is where it's at bounce
He along with Giroud and Kane are the only reliable players atm. With everyone else it's just more hoping they perform in the gameweek. We're getting into that stage where form players throughout the season won't do that much and goals come from all over the pitch and bench players also getting some time, so it is going to be really tough for the fantasy managers to get a consistently producing team round after round. One of the drawbacks for leaving my wildcard this late I guess. There's a chance I might use it and then return with a points total of 30 the very next gameweek. Neutral

The thing with dirty Sanchez is - unlike earlier in the season - there aren't a lot of elite midfielders performing right now. Di Maria is on the bench, Sterling is a wingback now, and Cesc appears to be doing his annual second half disappearing act. I already have Hazard, Silva, and Eriksen (another mf that might have to go) so I don't know who to get. Maybe Sigurdsson?

I would bet on Ozil, although I see he's at 75% so I don't know what that's about. Although Hazard, Silva, Eriksen and Ozil is my midfield right now, so maybe I'm a bit biased Laughing

It's also worth it looking at the fixtures a little at this point, some will have it easier than others. For instance, I'm seriously considering Lukaku, because Everton have five home games left and their three away games are against Swansea, Villa and West Ham.

West Ham's Sakho is also an interesting and really cheap option, although they've been shite in 2015. But Man City is the only team from the top-7 they have got left to play, so they can't do that bad.

Right now I'm wondering which would be the better forward line:

Aguero, Kane, N'Doye vs Bony, Kane, Lukaku hmm

Could also have Giroud instead of Bony or Lukaku if I told Aguero to gtfo.

Arsenal have a bi-week soon but not having Giroud in your team is a big mistake with the form he is on right now. Every week that I kept Aguero in instead of bringing on Giroud screwed me over.

Yeah, well, Aguero is still Aguero, he's bound to score a few still this season. But sure, those who have had Giroud recently have made the right call.

I do wish I had picked Austin as captain in retrospect, but I figured QPR always do poorly away from home

Made Kane my captain and he let me down, but up steps Jermaine 'Complete Waste of Space in My Team' Defoe with a wonder goal to likely send me to the top of the table Proud

Yeah god damn, I didn't realize QPR and Aston Villa played twice; I had considered bringing in one of Austin and Benteke anyway for Defoe but opted to replace Eriksen with Hazard instead. Benteke better not score or my run at the top spot could be screwed..

An awful round, no one in my team scored, assisted or kept a clean sheet apart from Hazard. At least thanks to BC he was my captain.

Aguero's value has dropped from 13.0m to 12.5m in two rounds, lulz. If I had any transfers I'd swap him off, too, but had to use my only free transfer to get rid of Zouma, pos Mourinho tricked me into selecting him for starting him in three consecutive matches. Betcha Zchouma is going to start their next match now that I dropped him.

Also lulz @ Cuadrado: added in gameweek 24 at price 8.5m, now in gameweek 31 his price is 7.5m and he's selected by 0.1%.
