Ambrose has 0 PPV wins since splitting from The Shield :facepalm:

He lost to Rollins THRICE and it's not like Rollins is being booked strong because Super Reigns beat him on a random RAW and Super Cena beat him twice today and could have beaten him ten times if it was not for interference. Why in the world did they have to make Cena look that strong? If he was going to win anyway what was the point of putting Rollins through the table with no ref?

Finish was definitely intentional. Great match, poor finish. Made Wyatt look weak and made Ambrose look stupid.

NXT Revolution was better. I don't blame the wrestlers, I blame the writers. There is a difference in quality because NXT is written by Triple H and other former wrestlers and wrestling coaches. Main roster stuff, Vince is in charge of and believe it or not, most of the writers of RAW are former soap opera writers. That explains Nikki/Brie and Big Show job cringefest storyline last year.

I discussed this with my brother and I think he agrees.

But I think the reason NXT works is because there is no financial implications, don't think it matters if HHH was running Raw and the writers were the same as NXT.

At the end of the day you translate over to Raw you have to deal with the financial implications and the small amount of risk that goes with it.

What would happen is they would soon make decisions just like they do on RAW right now for financial reasons and not for the reasons of making a good product.

NXT's overrated though. The IWC only like it because it focuses purely on wrestling and because it's full of indy wrestlers. You got bland guys like Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd main eventing.

I can't think of a single superstar with amazing mic skills or a character on NXT.

The Big Show/Rowan match was just terrible all round. The concept of a steel stairs match is as pointless as a chairs match. Why not just go all out and make it Extreme Rules or Falls Count Anywhere? It was all very one paced and bland (which describes a lot of matches involving Big Show tbh).

Kane/Ryback was meh, too.

At least Harper/Ziggler, Cena/Rollins and Wyatt/Ambrose were all fun to watch.

Fair enough, but it still sounds to me like they're saying NXT is overall better than RAW.

I haven't watched NXT in a few months, but when I did watch it, there were barely any in depth storylines and Tyson Kidd/Adam Rose were main eventing.

I'm pretty confident the majority of people are only praising NXT because the wrestling is good and there's indy wrestlers involved.

I don't watch NXT but their PPVs are always, always good. Only Wrestlemania was better than REvolution as an overall show this year.

And MT pls stop with the 2014 worst year ever. It was better than 2013 (Cena vs Ryback, Orton vs Big Show, Big Show vs Authority, Del Rio world champion for almost the entire year rofl

) and the dark ages of 2008-2011 by miles. A very inconsistent year though I must say. Start of the year to Wrestlemania was amazing. Yes Movement vs Authority was in it's prime, Bray Wyatt was on fire, The Wyatt Family/Shield was awesome and then it went to a slump with only Shield vs Evolution a good storyline and it was made worse by Bryan getting injured. What happened mostly was terrible RAWs (they really need to go back to 2 hour) and good PPVs. Payback and Summerslam were pretty good shows. Post Summerslam Ambrose vs Rollins was the only good feud, Brock disappearing with the title hurt the product a lot. Survivor Series had an amazing main event and TLC was ok. Memorable year thanks to Undertaker's streak getting broken, Shield breaking up and Sting debuting. Should have been consistent with it's quality.
