Yesterday's game, Chennai vs Goa. What a game, Chennai won it by the skin of their teeth, Goa just kept attacking and attacking and attacking them. When the second half started, Chennai only got into the opponents half after 15 minutes were gone.

Elano's free kicks :')

Yes I was going to write this , good debut of Marco Materazzi as coach  , 2-1 with goals scored by Elano and Singh .

Better than Mazzarri atm

I would say it was more lucky than anything. Goa was let down because of non existent finishing. And they kept sending the ball really deep in when it came to the countless number of free kicks they got.

Kerala Blasters and Pune City it looks like are the ones that will battle it out in an attempt to not finish last.

Out of all people David James had to bring an obese and out of shape Michael Chopra to lead the line for Blasters. Rolling Eyes

yea Delhi will definately reach the semis. But I have a feeling they will get K.O ed in there at the hands of either ADK or Chennaiyin.

My original prediction stands still. Final between Kolkata and Chennai with the latter winning it. Elano to be the player of the tournament.

Chennai is average actually. Despite their win they werent really better than Kerala and i wasnt impressed with their first game either.

Kolkata and Delhi are the big teams.

on Gazzetta dello Sport this article

http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Estero/24-10-2014/ale-miseria-nobilta-piero-insegna-calcio-rifiuti-90833441145.shtml

the story of an Italian journalist looking for Del  Piero to New Dehli

Distracted taxi drivers, some strange taxies called  auto rickshaw (similar to our " ape " ) , all to challenge with courage on heavy traffic where there is only one rule, always honking, so much smong  in this megalopolis,  cows to graze in the parking lot , really much mess so but also much love for the football Proud

And tomorrow there is Materazzi vs Del Piero , derby d'Italia in India hmm

Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires was allegedly punched while playing for FC Goa in the new Indian Super League.

According to reports, the 40-year-old Frenchman was attacked in the tunnel at half-time by Atletico de Kolkata coach Antonio Lopez Habas.

FC Goa are coached by Brazilian World Cup winner Zico and he said: "Pires said he was punched in the face by the Atletico coach and it is very shameful.

"I don't think that Pires would lie and say something that didn't happen."

gg, Kolkata coach.

We won Smile

Chennai was awful..yet since we got a red card their hoofgame worked and went 3-0 up but after the metarazzi red card when the players were equal we were simply better...what a time to seal the winner also...117 th minute.

Chennaiyin couldnt win in spite of every single factor helping/favoring them. They got a penalty. They scored one with the hand. The referee sent off a player of Blasters inside the first 30 mins. Laughing Unreal fixing of a football match on display. And yet even against all those odds KBFC triumphed in the end. Proud

That yellow card to McCallister for time wasting when the referee's assistant himself asked him to recheck the balls' position during a corner.. rofl

Nevertheless a bizarre, exciting and one helluva football match. Hope some of you guys (Non Indians) apart from  Robes watched it.

Want AdK in the final. Twisted Evil

No Bengaluru no party !

I-league holders got robbed of a place in this league Mad

But seriously,i hope Kerala wins.I was moved by the crazy turnout in each of their home games.60,000 in the semi, that was like an Eden Gardens-esque turnout.I also like how the overseas players took this comp srsly.Large crowds would have motivated them as well afterall.

Hope we can have a Bengaluru team in the next edition.

They chose to have franchises in the most popular footballing areas in the country.
Atleast we should've got the nod over Pune considering we're I-league champs and all but it wasnt to be.I really doubt there'll be a 9th team tho, tbf. This 8 team IPL style format is working just fine for them.

After last years Bayern esque bottling in the final against Atletico de kolkatha ... We are back with a bang. Score line is bit flattering but it's the first game and our high ball strategy worked. Missed hume very badly. Traitor went to Atletico.

Peter Taylor's strategy is not bad. Keeping our best players for the 2nd half. Unleash Josu and Sanchez Watt now and we can get it done here.
The oversees players of Mumbai will struggle to cope with the heat and humidity especially with someone like Watt running around.

Surprised Anelka decided not to play today. He could have made that difference in the 1st half.

Peter Taylor out. 5-3-2 with route one hoofball. What did we expect from a English coach?

4 losses this season. 3 in row.
