Watched John Wick.

Couldn't help, but compare it with the Equalizer. I will admit that this movie was more fun and much more stylish however, but the very fact that so much violence had to take place over a dog is mind-boggling.

Coincidentally, I also watched 7 Psychopaths as well....more violence over a dog ffs. I didn't like this movie and found it over-the-top and overrated. Not even Christopher Walken made this interesting honestly.

If someone did this to my dog, and I was a hitman with those skills. No doubt I'd do the same. I love my dogs Proud

I think saying it was just a dog is putting it very lightly. The dog was gift from his dying wife, it was like his wife dying AGAIN.

John Wick was so good, but then the third act was just Laughing

Might see Theory of Everything tonight.

Agree with McLewis. 7 Psychopaths sounded so good and cool, but it was pretty lame.

I will put my above remarks into to context. I am not a pet owner and I probably never will be one. Dogs do not hold any significance to me so that's why I found the premise of both of these movies silly. And ES, I do get the symbolism of the dog in John Wick...still found that unnecessary honestly.

Wait the john wick movie is based on a dog dying?

Gonna need some serious crack to make peace with that before I watch it.

Basically all my thoughts about horrible American action movies.

John Wick finally broke that trend, hopefully it continues.

Matthew Vaughn is also great at it imo.

It'd be a more convincing video if he'd done a bit of research, tbh. As it is it sounds exactly like he describes it at the beginning... 20 minutes of him giving his opinions with little real solid evidence, research, or theory to back it up or structure to his arguments.

Totally agree on the Story and Vulnerability of Hero points. They are crucial! And The Matrix is a lovely example of that. The whole story is so fascinating when you watch it first time bcuz you don't know what is going to happen and Agent Smith mostly seems superior than Neo.

Never seen a movie where muslims were portrayed so much like evil cartoons. Was awful.

Putting American in the title --> Undeserving Oscar noms

2 years in a row the most overrated films critically (not named Boyhood) have had American in the title Proud

I refuse to watch American Sniper. I'm not wasting my money on that trash nor am I wasting space on my hard drive for it.

And Freeza pls go. Boyhood was brilliant. People are hating on it because they think it gets a free pass critically for the 12 year shooting but the movie itself is superb.
