not to mention that the most expensive PL squad ever assembled, most of that money concentrated in the attacking third no less, didn't manage to have one shot on target at home in 90 minutes.

we are finally getting healthy too top 4 should start to take shape imo
Your best form has come because of the injuries.
these injured guys (Di Maria, Shaw, Rafael, etc) coming back will ruin the balance and winning formula LvG has found. can't wait
As usual

Maybe United let Moyes go too soon?
This is an explicative post written by a United fan regarding LVG's shortcomings.
I mean I'm sure that Moyes with the experience accumulated in his first year plus di Maria, Shaw, Falcao, Rojo, Blind, Herrera or 150M signings would've done better than his first year and LVG's first year.
SAF's decision to appoint him was not so unwise as it seemed.
RED wrote:Luck finally ran out, the luck this man has been clinging onto in our unbeaten run (bar Hull/NewC). Dross football, posession smession, 3-5-2 stubborness.
Same amount of points as Moyes had at this moment last season.
He's had a good impact, don't get me wrong, Improvement of certain players being his biggest plus point. but he has been a shambles in terms of subs and starting 11 lately. Wins has papered over the cracks.
Today he was tactically outclassed by Koeman. They came, stifled us, subbed on Tadic at the end, got the win. He knew up front we can't create nothing, so he allowed us all the possession. Simple to play against once our attackers have an off day from bailing us out.
Boring, boring football. Players out of position, awful formation and subs.
Just piss poor.

How did LVG manage Bayern. I know he nearly relegated Barca but he did quite good with Bayern.
The guy makes DiMaria play with his back to goal the guy is called the noodle for a reason lol
Only manager in the world who plays goalscorer Rooney at CM and creator DiMaria as striker

Moyes lost the dressing room, and they lost home game after home game. Which is sure to get you fired, and rightly so.

5 mins today for no reason, even Tottenham got 6 mins yesterday.
Lloris received treatment on the field that game. That was 2 or 3 minutes before you account for any other time wasted. I personally thought it would be 5, so 6 isn't much of a stretch though I didn't think it was gonna be 6.

I'm starting to turn on him tbh. I don't want him out, but what I've seen recently has been some of the worst football we've played in ages, baffling starting line-ups, odd subs that dont make sense, persisting with a system that clealry isn't working.
Can't buy a win away from home (something that even Moyes could do last season) and now today we were done over by a team who doesn't cost a fraction of ours, and managed to go above us in the league....at OT too. ( a place we were banking on wins this season). Playing awful football and cant seem to create chances despite having an influx of quality attacking players (doesn't help that some are playing out of position).
All our problems came to a head today. That rug that was covering them cracks was pulled.
Not good enough and top 4 is going to be a battle now.

Yeah. Baffling. Di Maria was great last season playing LCM, the position Rooney is now pretty much playing. And Rooney is a player with over 100 Premier League goals.
And then he leaves Falcao out completely, because he "needed two subs for Shaw and Di Maria".
Also, like it's been said, some hugely boring football by ManU this season. I'm starting to lose count on United matches where they've had 2 shots on target at most. Today zero on target, I wonder when's the last time that's happened at Old Trafford?

the awesome particle Physics theory from LVG proves Southampton won that day“They were defending well, good organisation, they came for a draw but I believe they go away with a victory."

Yeah HE drives us back in LOL.
Ah yes, I forgot. We were getting poor results and it's his fault, now that we're in a good run of form (1 loss in last...13 games?) though it has nothing to do with him.
Red Alert wrote:If Rafa or Klopp don't come in the summer I'm going to be a very unhappy man regardless of wherever Rodgers finishes/trophies Gerrard carries us too.
You're going to be very unhappy no matter who is in charge, but I'm sorry to disappoint you that Rodgers has been constantly improving over his time here and just signed a 4 year contract. Outside of a catastrophic season he's not going anywhere.
