Didn't see a question mark tbh.
But rest assured, from February 18th to March 10th I will be Roberto Di Matteo's staunchest and most hopeful supporter

Making a comparison with today's Bayern and the past's Bayern who do you think is better, Kahn or Neuer? Lucio or Boateng? Ballack or Schweini? Brazzo or Lahm?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Well, they are completely different types of goalies. While OIliver Kahn struck terror into his opponents by his presence and aggression, and he was a beast on the line, Manu Neuer is much more relying on game intelligence and anticipation (although he is really good on the line, too).Katy Perry wrote:Making a comparison with today's Bayern and the past's Bayern who do you think is better, Kahn or Neuer?
Today, Kahn probably would not be as successful anymore, especially if a coach would want to play a high defensive line as Pep Guardiola, as he never got the footballing education that Neuer got.
In his time, Kahn was pretty much a force of nature, but I would say right now he would very likely not be as successful anymore as the requirements have changed.
By the way, that new kid Timon Wellenreuther will become something in the future! I really hope he will get regular 1st team practise soon, and if he has to go to a 2nd league team on loan first. (Dunno if he would be prefered to the more experienced Ralf Fährmann and Fabian Giefer when they are both fit.)

I'm really sorry, I can't help you with Vanja Milinkovic as I have never watched anything of the Serbian league other than one or the other club that reaches the EL/CL. -_-'

Okay, so that was Dortmunds proper win. Now a lucky one for the psychological advantage, and after that it'll be smooth sailing. Too bad this came too late to make the UCL. Euro League is doable still, though, with how the table looks.

for christs sake Viva you JUST learned the lesson 2 days ago, and as you can see IT WORKS, now you're starting with the CL and EL spots again?
You'll be responsible for jinxing Dortmund into relegation after all

Schuerlle with technically with two assists on his debut (one was a great cross to Dost, the other was a venomous volley that nearly broke the crossbar, KDB headed the rebound in). One hell of a signing.
De Bruyne with 5 goals in his last 3 games.

Now it's a bit too late to win the BL, Wolfsburg should've really taken advantage of RDM04's draw at the Allianz. At least they've cemented themselves as the second best team in Germany. I expect them to fight for the BL next season and maybe RDM04 as well if he gets two better midfielders than *bleep* Prince Boateng.

What are Bayern doing to Pep? 5 defenders + 2 defensive midfielders against relegation fodder. Pep.

I said CL spots aren't doable. EL spots are 7 pts away, that's still worth talking about TBH.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Calma. Dortmund has had some fortunate wins in the Hinrunde as well that were followed by a streak of losses because what they lack is consistency. The best they can hope is a relegation play-off where they'll get destroyed by Fortuna Düsseldorf anyway. They're doomed.

What are you talking about. There's just 2 and a half defenders playing - Benatia, Dante and Alaba.

I'm talking about the 5 man defense he was employing with a double pivot sitting right infront of it.
Why are you doing this to Pep?
