That's not just any goat, that's his majesty Hennes VIII.

So it'd have to be a particularly expensive meal, then.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Absolutely
AFAIK there are only two really famous living mascots in the BL - Köln's Hennes VIII and Frankfurt's majestic eagle Attila.
BTW, this is in German, but I think Google translate should give you a little overview:
Hennes: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gei%C3%9Fbock_Hennes
Attila: http://www.eintracht.de/aktuell/mannschaft/attila/

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Anybody watching Markus Lanz?
Franz "Bulle" Roth is reminiscing about that time the FC Bayern players (apparently in the 70s) beat up a bunch of Werder Bremen Ultras so they could get to the airport in time. Good stuff.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Stuttgart confirms to be very poor defensively ... Already 2-0 .. .4 passes were enough for Leverkusen to score 2-0.
Stevens really angry after it , he invited some players on bench to warm up

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Werden Bremen under Skripnik looks so much better than under Dutt. Almost like in their best days under Schaaf, although they don't have the starplayers at the moment.

They sacked Dutt at least one year to late. To be precise, they sacked him the same amount of time too late that he was their coach.

Yes but Skripnik is a great coach until now. I mean they also sucked under Schaaf the last 2-3 years under him.

Okay, the ref is back on his legs in Frankfurt, and Stendera scores the 2:0 against Paderborn.

Yes, Schaaf in his last years seemed burned out and depressed to me.
I don't know exactly what was going on with their finances, they had trouble, also with the stadium I think, and the squad got worse and worse.
Seeing that they played CL regularly for a few years I can't shake the feeling though there was mismanagement from the financial executives involved.
They're so much better now, and Schaaf is also looking good again.
I just think Dutt is a pure fraud. He had the best grade in some coaching seminar's year and that's why he got his reputation when he's obviously not a good coach in reality.

this kid Leroy Sane seems to be the next gem from Schalkes academy. I think next season will be his defining season where we will see more of his potential

His reputation came from his Freiburg days where he did a good job but i also think that he is a terrible coach. And i also think he will fail as Stuttgart sportmanager. He just isn't authentic somehow.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
watching Dortmund-Koln
If Dortmund can't break Koln down then there is no way they can break Juve down. Not to mention Koln missed few very good chances which Juve will most likely take.

First of all, that's not how it works, secondly, Köln are not an easy to break down team this season, thirdly, I agree.
