Happy Gladbach players celebrate their first participation in the CL (before that they were only in the "European Champions Club" 37 years ago):

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Gladbach were surely still under influence
Losing at home to Augsburg. Yann Sommer making a mistake in the 5th minute of injury time to concede a goal. They really shouldn't have stopped at every gas station between Bremen and Gladbach to fill up with beer last weekend and celebrate getting into the CL group stage...
BTW, such a pity that Freiburg got relegated

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
By the way, Alexander Meier from Eintracht Frankfurt won this season's Torjägerkanone (goal scorers' cannon) for being the top scorer of the Bundesliga 2014/15. His tally of 19 goals in this season is the lowest since 2001/2002.

Will be a huge challenge for them next season. Would have been better had dortmund made it tbh

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Dortmund are 7th. They will at least get into the EL quali where they will be seeded or if they win the DFB-Pokal, they will get into the EL group stage right away (then Schalke - who would be seeded too - will go through the qualification).
The good thing is that Augsburg (who would be unseeded) will get into the group stage directly and don't have to go through the qualification.

Oh, thought only 5th and 6th get EL in Bundesliga. That makes sense

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
If the DFB-Pokal is won by a club outside the first 6, then they will get the EL spot and the Bundesliga 7th gets nothing. If the DFB Pokal is won by a club who already qualifies for CL or EL, then the 7th place gets the EL qualification berth in the BL. As currently Wolfsburg (2nd) and Dortmund (7th) are in the DFB-Pokal final, Dortmund will either directly qualify for the EL as winners or via the 7th place for the quali.

I'm so effing glad both Stuttgart and Hamburg survived (I know HSV still have to play the playoff). Clubs with great history and prestige, the both of them. Nobody gives a shit about Padeborn or Freiburg.

Would rather have Freiburg than Stuttgart TBH.
And the HSV can't get relegated. Dinosaur must stay.

Roberto Firmino was one of the best Hoffenheim players. Rumours have it that he is already about to sign a contract with some top club somewhere.
