well we said it when Heldt fired Keller to get Di Matteo.. it's his last stand.
Can't see Heldt surviving this, or can you?

If HH were a real man, he'd fire RDM and take his hat to allow Schalke a clean new start the next season.

Maybe they should consider getting Jens Keller back. He spent his free time with further education and made a special managerial course of study that was offered by the University of St.Gallen in conjunction with Schalke (!) and he did a short internship (?) with LVG at Manchester United. :coffee:

I really thought they'd get Tuchel, guess we can't all be right. They could wait for Stuttgart to fire Stevens, or has that already happened?

That being said, KPB was actually decent after he made it back, though Sam was bloody invisible for the entirety of the season.

Whether Keller, Stevens, or Slomka - we all can agree they likely won't look at people they haven't fired at least once before

Well, certainly not if they keep Horst Heldt. If they'd get a new sports director who'd evaluate things from scratch - who'd know?

Büskens and Stevens should be considered frontrunners though since they've been already fired TWICE by Schalke

Let's take Peter Neururer - at least he already had the right colours:

Which reminds me - Loddar still wants his first Bundesliga job. Oh, and isn't Armin Veh out of job for a while now, too?

Loddar or Veh might actually do something worthwhile, so it really runs contrary to Schalke instincts.

If they get Loddar the unthinkable happens and I become a Schalke sympathizer over night.

Words can't describe how much I love Loddar.

Veh is brilliant, and I think despite his tendency to publicly marry too often, and speak before thinking, Loddar just knows too much about football to be of no use as a coach.

Veh might do actually good  with Schalke but one run of 6-7 games of loss and he is gone Laughing

Well, I'm really fascinated that RDM hasn't been fired yet. But it appears as if Horst Heldt desperately tries to cling to his own job. But then, by his sacking of KPB and Sam, he actually started to shovel his own grave as he virtually cut their price in half or worse. I mean, how on earth does he expect any sensible transfer fee for them now? And considering the lack of CL money, this doesn't bode well for Schalke's finances.

Yeah, but what's better - Gladbach can't stop winning!

Werder 0:2 Gladbach today.

This means that Yann Sommer egalized the all-time Gladbach record of 15 clean sheets in the BL in 1 season today. And as he only allowed 23 goals against, he can even break Gladbach's record of fewest goals conceded in the BL in one season (currently 24, held by MAtS from 2011).
