Was mostly a good podcast. However both his and Vince's podcast gave no indication of the company making revolutionary changes in order to attract a mainstream audience again. I don't know if they properly realise this or not, but ONLY wrestling fans like wrestling. If they want to attract more audiences, then they need to start keeping up with the times. Start incorporating contemporary trends into the product.

The path that they're going on now, it doesn't really lead anywhere. Things will just continue on being medicore, when we all know they can offer so much better. The only thing that will stop them from resting on their laurels is real competition.

There were WWE fans on social media that lashed out at JBL during last night’s Luke Harper vs. Ryback match on RAW. As Harper came over the top rope, JBL said that he looked like a “zombie Eddie Guerrero.” JBL later replied to the backlash on his Facebook page:

“The spot with Luke Harper I saw some Twitter comments over. I had just mentioned Walking Dead show and Luke does the ‘Eddie’ spot over the top rope, my comment (since I had mentioned Rick Grimes before toward Luke) was ‘it looks like a zombie Eddie Guerrero’. This was a WALKING DEAD reference toward Luke-who I have said before looks like a ‘walker’.

I would NEVER insult my friend Eddie, for those who took it wrong-sorry about that, but it is what it is.”

They don't, but it's funny because most of the show is just full of excessively long filler wrestling matches. If you skipped them, then you wouldn't have missed anything significant.

Neither Vince or HHH want a pure wrestling product, they want 'sports entertainment', yet what we see on RAW each week is a show dominated by wrestling, with weak storylines and little to no character development. Just match after match after match, with the odd promo or backstage segment.

Even prior to the 3 hours, it was just filler wrestling.

They haven't realised that they've strayed away from their original goal.

Randy Orton has been advertised to return and then pulled from several recent WWE events but readers sent word that a local ad ran in Florida during last night’s RAW that advertised Orton’s return at the February 16th RAW from Orlando.

This would be the final RAW before Fast Lane. We’ve heard that it’s creative decisions that keep delaying Orton’s return to TV.

Technically, that's not true.

Some guy on youtube who does weekly reviews of this show always let the people know how many minutes of actual wrestling we get to watch a week on the show.

It's always around 30-35 mins.

A 180 min show................... 30-35 mins of actual wrestling on the show?

There's filler alright, but it's not the wrestling.

Without the commercials the show is around 2 hours 20 mins and this week we had approximately 60 mins of wrestling and around 70 mins of promos/backstage. Rest probably was recaps, advertisements etc.

There's nothing wrong with the actual wrestling, because usually the matches are top quality when it comes to WWE. It's just a lot of the stuff is there to fill up that third hour. In the AE the matches were shorter and they actually had a story attached to them.

What is Bray Wyatt vs Ziggler leading to? Or Rowan/Rusev, Jey Uso/Cesaro, Harper/Ryback etc? How are their characters/the story progressing?

Most of the matches are insignificant. Wrestling should rarely, if ever be on RAW just for the sake of it.

Also I disagree with 'kayfabe' being dead and all of this reality era crap.

It's just smarks cheering for people that are held down because they 'work hard' or are cooler than the faces. In some cases it is true, for example CM Punk or Bryan. But how can it be an era if the WWE aren't actively promoting it? They didn't intend for this to happen, whereas the attitude era was something they actually wanted. They were aiming for a certain style of programming aimed at a specific audience.

This 'reality era' is just.. well nothing. It's just the WWE going through the motions and people hijacking shows.

Kayfabe isn't dead. It's just most of the storylines suck. Look at Bray Wyatt. He's a cult leader with an over the top gimmick, yet he's over.

People will buy into storylines if they're legit.
