NHL is over. NBA/MLB about to be over as well. So i might follow this NFL season tbh. Love the game and all strategies related to it. Big problem the large majority of games are played on a sunday.

I don't follow NFL usually because the games bore the shit out of me, mostly because they put commercials every 30 seconds. If there was a Youtube channel or something that show all plays in the game, not just highlights but a condensed version, it would be ideal.

From what i understand Jackson and Mahomes are both incredible QBs, the latter has more tricks in his bag, but the latter has better arm and is expected to last longer. However my basic knowledge of NFL comes mostly from video games. Let's see how this unfolds.

"Rooting" for Chiefs i hope they become a dynasty like Patriots were. Never understood the hate for clubs that have long-term success, whatever the sport.

pretty much

Jackson is more of a runner with razzle dazzle. Don't think that bodes well for success in terms of championships when games become more tactical in latter stages of the season.

Mahomes' eye and feel for the game is insane, has a crazy arm on him.

I remember a QB who used to run a lot, Michael Vick. In Madden i'd always took the Falcons because he was completely cheated. Cannon arm (and throws left) and 99 elusiveness Laughing

Jackson seems to be from the same mould

There's a game tomorrow, Broncos vs Jets, but they are mediocre teams with 0 wins. I'll wait a couple of weeks before fully getting into NFL.

Patriots v Chiefs is on Sunday
havent seen much of the Pats this season, but i guess this is as ultimate as the litmus test can get these days for them on Sunday to see if they will play any big part later in the postseason

Ah, Patriots vs Chiefs is an interesting match-up. Brady might be the GOAT, i don't have an opinion, but certainly their coach is also a mastermind. Obviously adjustments needed on both sides, after a partnership of 20 years, but logic is both will succeed, however not to the point of meeting in a Super Bowl scratch

You guys saw that Netflix documentary on Aaron Hernandez the former Patriots tight end ? I recommend it, crazy story, more than you would believe. A sad one to say the least.

Anyways, might watch if NBA/Yankees don't play at the same time. For a north america sports fans (european/african/asian people who follow these leagues) august-september 2020 was a memorable period despite Covid, bubbles and all that. 2 weeks ago it was all four major leagues + MLS + tennis grand slam on the same day.

so moving the game, to do more testing and to make sure there are no more positive players is stupid? after what's happening with the titans? i think your comment is stupid, there is no room to gamble with players lives. the incubation period of the virus makes detecting it a bit tricky, so allowing more time for testing is the reasonable thing to do, short of cancelling the game

Brian Hoyer should never play a game again. What the hell is that shit.

I don't know how you can be a QB for 15 years in the league and still be that fucking dumb

Belichick will always have a chance, so this could be an interesting matchup in AFC playoffs

but i also think Kansas City didn't play at their best because they knew Cam wasn't playing

Are you trying to say Packers haven't had an all world defense for the past decade?

Laughing

It's been depressing watching Rodgers carry our sorry ass this entire decade while we continually fail to properly build around him.

We've actually got a decent team this year, and more importantly, McCarthy and Dom Capers are both gonzo. We have a competent coaching team once again.

It's been the same with Seattle really, since the SB loss. Wilson has been incredible every year and they've failed to really give him anything to work with.

Rodgers, Wilson and Brady have continually been the best quarterbacks with limited talent around them on offense imo. Like just see what Brady can do with talent even though he's 44 right now. One of his best games in a decade and his team still needs their top receiver.

It should have been called off. An extra day does nothing when Covid has a pretty liberal undetectable/incubation period.

There is no way Cam and a Chiefs practice QB were the only people who got it.
