More than a decade
Also the only reason I'm not yet concerned about relegation is because of the breathing room we have combined with how bad the bottom half is.
If we lose to hull this weekend though....

And what exactly has Carver done to warrant him being coach till end of the season? The board is *bleep* stupid.

Anything to reduce costs, that's all they care about.

It was all Pardew though.
The day Ashley leaves, the day Newcastle will prosper. Really hoping Frank doesn't join them. Will be a terrible career move.

On the coaching side it was, everything he was permitted to do he was awful at Ashley's ineptitude as an owner doesn't change that.
Because Pardew's assistant who isn't even qualified to be a manager at any level isn't doing the job doesn’t change that.
Also why would it be a terrible career move, we have talented players who have been horribly coached. A better coach would make us shit tonnes better, you only have to look at Southampton to see that.

It doesn't make sense tho, even from an economical point of view.
If he's really an inept and clueless manager that has been promoted to reduce costs, with him for the rest of the season the risk of getting relegated and losing tons of money because of it is increased and without a proper coach the players are going to underachieve and lose their market value.

Because they are very complacent people and believe relegation isn't a concern. For the very reasons you mentioned though it's why he won't get the job full time.
They have made it quite clear they want someone to maximise profits and not see money invested in players only for them to waste on the bench.

It's a bit ridiculous, but we don't even need him to spend money. The club has more than enough money to be competitive without Ashley spending a penny.

Like I said before Frank de Boer is not exactly a great coach. I wouldn't be pining for him if I were Newcastle...there are better options out there.

Liverpool have won their last 5 away games in all competitions. The last time they won 6 in a row was Nov 2011. The 6th win....away to Chelsea in the League Cup.
