Wrestlemania is on Sunday and yet its main event doesn't feel like a big deal, at all. In terms of momentum and fan engagement, it pales in comparison to last year's main event. Back then, fans were desperate to see Bryan win the title. This year, fans want to see Reigns lose... and he's the babyface in the whole thing.

As far as match quality goes, I don't think Wrestlemania will be that bad. The ladder match, Cena/Rusev and Orton/Rollins will be good matches to watch, and Sting/Triple H is novel enough to cover up the fact that it's two guys who haven't wrestled for a long time.

But storyline-wise, it just feels flat. I don't get the feeling that there's going to be a big payoff somewhere.

There's absolutely no doubt they're burying Bryan.

If you want to raise the prestige of the IC title, you don't have a main eventer lower himself to midcard level by jobbing. You keep the main eventer strong and THEN give him the title to give it credibility.

I really think Bray is going to beat Taker. Taker has lost his invincibility. Bray has been smashing it in terms of Promos. A 50 year old who has never wrestled a single minute nor appeared on RAW for a year, beating someone as fit as Bray. It doesn't make sense even in kayfabe.
