Regarding the shield members discussion, I donno if that escaped the attention of a few people here but the WWE was high on Rollins ever since NXT, he was the first NXT champ for a reason imo. The impression that he was pushed because they didnt want him to perish in the midcard is just fan theories because he looked like the weakest link in the shield in terms of potential (Reigns had the look and Ambrose had the character and thr mic work) but Rollins is the champ today because the company had high hopes for him since they signed him

In Punk's shoot interview, he said WWE wanted him in a stable with CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and the Big Show. Punk said he didn't want Big Show in it, and Bryan should be doing bigger things, and then they replied to Punk by saying OK, as long as Rollins is in the stable its fine.

Punk ended up going with Rollins, Ambrose and Kassius Ohno. But HHH replaced Ohno with Reigns. And instead of becoming Punk's henchmen they became their own stable instead.

So it's clear WWE have had high hopes with him since day one.

Isn't that kinda the same thing though? Rollins and the shield were WWE's pet project. The WWE would look bad if they were to get lost in the shuffle after years of hyping them as the future.

Don't want this turning into some banter mania where people come out of retirement for fantasy video game esque matches.

During a press conference to promote WWE’s tour of Australia in August, Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan said that he stopped Vince McMahon at a WWE show and told him that he would be wrestling at WrestleMania 32.

Hogan stated that he told McMahon that he would be on the show wrestling whether that meant a farewell match or whether that meant he was winning his next WWE title. Hogan said Vince said “I look forward to it.” and shook his hand.

Ironically Hogan last competed at a WrestleMania against Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 19. His last match was at the 2011 TNA Bound for Glory PPV.

Watched a bit of RAW of the last few weeks

Cena's title reign as US champion is easily one of the best in a decade. It's actually relevant and the matches he puts on have all been great.

Glad they made that move.

It's worth noting that Rusev suffered clean losses to Ryback at this weekend's WWE live events. Before Rusev began the feud with John Cena, his singles matches at live events were always won or if he did lose, it was by DQ or the loss came in a tag match.

I can barely force myself to skim through RAW now lol it's so bad

Watched it again for Lesnar and Wyatt family, one is never there the others got randomly split up even though all 3 suffered because of it

Now u got plebs like New day or whatever, Cesaro and Kidd and kane and big show are still getitng 10 segments per RAW

Last show I watched was Raw after Mania. Seems like I made a good decision. Sometimes I see some Adrian Neville on YouTube, he is doing great, really great.

Next show I will watch will be be NXT Takeover. Good card.

Eating some serious crow. Friend said to watch RAW, apparently best RAW of the year.

Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins, amazing match. The moment MT and me have been waiting for. Ambrose wins. Add to championship match on Payback. The match was even better than Summerslam.

Then back to average. Turn it on again. Bret *bleep* Hart introduces Sami Zayn and endorses him. Zayn vs Cena now.
