Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V8
Being the best player in Mule League is like becoming Miss England. I mean ... it's a title ... sort of ... but ... you know ...
... What I'm trying to say is: Hazard needs to stop fooling around and start proving himself in a proper league like Bundesliga for example.

Good for you.
Sadly I don't have the muscles to pull off a Lederjacke.

RealGunner wrote:Fantastic performance by us. Wenger has really got the balance right. Too little too late sadly. Could have challenged Chelsea if we started the season better. Finishing 2nd and winning the FA cup will still be a decent season.
Hard to name a MOTM. Would be between Coquelin, Ozil and Sanchez.
Don't understand why Rodgers, who insists on playing passing football, signs such bad players on the ball. None of the defenders can pass the ball from the back properly. Time and time again they made mistakes leading us to attack. Also no idea why you would play Sterling upfront on his own when his best qualities are to run through, not hold up the ball.
And expecially he hadn't to bottle it against Monaco in 1st leg ffs
I was frustrated to watch this amazing match thinking to that .
Well , congrats to Juve fans...

We didnt have Skrtel, Lallana and Sturridge and its not like their replacements are quality we still have no depth. We'll be better once they are back.
Toure needs to retire.

Adebayor is in a level of his own. Only matched by the likes of Muntari and Gyan

Urgh.
At least he's not a horrible human being like Pardew and Carver though.

Move isn't progressive though. He isn't going to take you anywhere. Will play good football though.

I think Carver is trying to surpass Pardew in the insanely crazy quotes category.
Carver on Lee Clattermole
“If Lee’s getting on the ball and dictating things, then it will be a problem for us,”
As if there's a coach alive whose scared of Lee Clattermole other than him breaking your best players legs

Mole slowly and indirectly admitting that Pardiola wasn't that bad after all. Little baby steps, but we're getting there. By the end of the year you'll admit that Pardiola deserves to be nominated Coach Of The Year alongside Coachessi.

Nope.
We just happened to get through the rest of the season with his assistant whose only managerial experience is failing miserably with Vancouver ffs.
Get over yourself lol.

spent 5 minutes laughing at this
When Lee Clattermole starts dictating, there is a problem

This bright sun shining on the field at Turf Moore makes this near unwatchable.
The football is also dire, though

Well, when your midfield is Paulinho-Dembele-Mason you don't really go in expecting good football.

Why Eriksen isn't in the middle and Lamela out wide is beyond me, especially with the awful awful football Tottenham are playing atm, especially offensively. Not creating anything against Burnley.
Burnley.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V8
Yup the Best top 4 is so clearly:
Lamela - Erisken - Chadli
Kane
I think he only played this a few times in december and after that started starting townsend... god knows why. They had pretty good chemistry.
Edit: And Lamela goes in for... Chadli. Shit midfield remains unchanged.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V8
Started the year like that and it worked well.
This is among one of the worst football games I've seen all year and some of the worst football I've seen Tottenham play for a while...and that's saying something.
Do they realize the two teams ahead of them both lost? If Tottenham want any kind of chance for the top 4 this game is a must win.
Lamela for Chadli...no....Jesus Christ
