Trade one of our best attackers for another defender. Such a Yallop move.

To be fair, Amarikwa wasn't exactly a productive attacker anyway. I'm not bothered that he's gone, personally.

Sporting Kansas CEO has claimed they want to sign Marko Marin.

Honestly think he'd do well in America.

Miazga is a really classy defender, wonder why he didn't receive a call up for the Polish NT yet hmm

MLS is creating new mechanism to sign Giovani Dos Santos and Chicarito

I.e. Create new rule so they can go to LA or NY teams that are out of DP spots

This is why I can't really even take this league seriously. They are so restrictive and stingy when it comes to how they allow teams to sign players... Yet when they sense opportunity in LA they move mountains to help them. If Sporting Kansas City or Chicago wanted to sign a DP but where out of slots the league would have told them to go and kick rocks. Yet if LA can sign a Mexican star lets throw the rule book out to accommodate them.

This is absolutely terrible for parity to allow la to get away with this kind of nonsense yet not let other teams do anything because they aren't LA.

Yeah agree completely on that. They either need to stick to salary cap for all teams or get rid of it entirely and open the floodgates.

I won't blame our woes entirely on this as sides like DC United, SKC, Houston, RSL and Columbus have done rather well for themselves despite not being one of the glamour spots in the country.

Diaby could be moving to Dallas.

If he can somehow stay fit there then that will be an incredible signing for them.

Wish NYRB were getting him

I can't see it getting any better for him honestly. MLS is a pretty physical league, just as the EPL is. Hope he does well though. Always been rather talented.

Didn't see a PL thread yet, but Preki looks set to become the first American coach in the PL.

He's projected to replace Nigel Pearson at Leicester City.

Pretty big news if true.

We got Japan'd by BWP

I guess we are going to keep up being the worst soccer team in the world until we lose 8 games in a row like we did last season

So sick of Kraft.

More concerned about the firmness of the pillows at Tom Brady's summer vacation home than fielding a defense for the Revolution that don't concede a goal from a kick taken at the corner as easily as a one from the penalty spot

Game was an Juan Pablo Angel Altidore winner away from being the most exciting regular season MLS game since LA vs NY in Beckhams 2007 debut

Why put this all on Garber? This is as much (if not more so) the fault of the fans who voted for that team. Garber has a very real interest in selecting those two big names to help grow the prominence of the league over-seas. The fans who voted and left out Giovinco should receive the majority of the blame here, IMHO.

Amazing how many people are upset at this when they could/should have had a direct say in the outcome. But then I suppose it is much easier to blame the prominent figure than accept that their own choices.
