Alves is the worst in La Liga, that is true, but that's only true because Montoya isn't even a regular player otherwise Montoya would be honoured with that title before Alves.

Mascherano couldn't even handle Rayo today and had to leave the pitch to make way for Rakitic at DM. Best Mehdrid of all time got this.

Despite his significant drop off he's still one of the best and by far Barca's best option.

Anyway I can see a double being possible but not a treble, their defence makes CL success close to impossible IMO.

I can't really imagine Luis Enrique to get a treble. It's not enough a great offensive trio for it, you need of a special manager too.

On a serious note, we have already reached 2 /3 finals (assuming La Liga title to be decided in classico) by march. thats not bad either with all the scandals, courts and disputes happening early in the same season.

That is a very poor assumption even if Barcelona win the clásico. Barcelona have yet to play Atlético and Sevilla (away) and Valencia (home). These are tough matches and I'd put my money on Barcelona losing points, no doubt in Calderón.

They have battered those so called tough games since the Messi and Enrique spat though. Even Atletico were dealt with quite easily.

Madrid are the only team in Lol Liga who would cause them problems, CL is a different beast though and their defense will be a problem there.

We Barca fans are humble, the Copa del Rey, 2nd place trophy in La Liga and not getting humiliated in the CL quarters or even in the 2nd leg against City would be a fountain of joy already. In fact being top of the table after 26 match days is already like a trophy for me. Realistic fans like me won't expect a rookie manager or old and fragile players like Iniesta, Xavi, Alves to lead us to more than that against a star studded ensemble that is Ancelotti's Decima men. Let alone in the CL against the World Cup winning core of Bayern under a manager whose tactical understanding is a level beyond Sir Alex Ferguson, Sacchi and Rinus Michels combined. No, no, we Barca fans keep it real.

their attack is great though, to be honest, Suarez moves great, does the selfless things and still makes the central runs. Messi is back as being the monster we know he is, and Neymar does his thing. They are all complimentary, can all beat their man 1v1, have speed, and technically brilliant. they make the so called BBC look like a joke tbh
