Agreed. 7-8 are much for him now, but not surprised if I think it's same club who signed Benalouane with same price.
Cambiasso was great last year for Foxes, it's not so easy to replace him for Inler, I am still shocked he preferred going to play in Greece for Olimpiakos, but Cambiasso is always ambitious also old 34 years , he prefers playing for titles even if it is a scrub league as Greek league and playing Champions League matches than fighting for the relegation battle in Premier League.

Think City will do better in the CL this year tbh, mainly because Aguero is playing up front by himself with 5 midfielders behind him and Silva has a free role in the middle instead of wide on the right.

How much is better don't know but i think they will do better.

might get out of the group this year. tbh in the past city have been a waste of a champions lge spot.

City have been unlucky. They keep bumping into Bayern in the groups every year, finish 2nd and then meet Barca in the first knockout round. If they could get a free ride to the semis like Mehdrid every season they wouldn't be regarded as such a joke.

since the a-rabs came to city they have spent a £1billion on players. they shouldn't have to worry about bumping into Bayern.

I also think City will actually make a big impact in Europe this year. Again, health pending of their star players. Adding Otamendi will be big...I think his skillset complements Kompany very well and he'll usurp Mangala.

Both of them will look really good businesses initially  and media will inevitably go on about how stupid we were not to go all out and buy them and blah. So brace for it.

As far as Otamendi goes it was coming seeing van gaal playing left footed /ball playing CBs in one position, that we arent that keen on him anymore. Smalling has improved and is arguably on par with Otamendi right now when it comes to his defending alone. Agreed his ball playing skills are pretty ordinary but then otamendi's is not that better either, right ?
So yea.. I mean until Blind makes a big mistake he will continue it looks like. So far he has ticked both the boxes lvg want. Ball playing and left footed. Then theres rojo to back him up. So.. not criticizing the club as of yet.
